ATTN: European people

What is the overall attitude over there now? CNN isn't showing me much in America here, so that's why I'm asking. When 9/11 happened a couple years ago, everyone was in shock, likely due to America "the invincible, invulnerable country" being hit with a terrorist attack. To clarify, people didn't expect it.

How are attitudes over there now? Has Blair spoken yet?

Blair's spoken a few times, he flew back from the G8 summit to give press conferences and get more information from his staff, the G8 is suspended at the moment. i'm too sure about attitudes yet, i live 350 or so miles from london. i'm just glad my uncle doesn't work there anymore. mostly people seem to be shocked that it's happened, the government / security services have been kind of expecting an attack ever since 9/11, but it was still really unexpected. 37 confirmed dead so far, over 700 injured.

This isnt really scary unexpected they only reason I am terrified is because my uncle is a transport poiliceman :/

I heard about the events in london at lunchtime.

The emergency services were well prepared and aquitted themselves fantastically I think, what struck me as odd was the minimal fatalities on the bus, only two deaths, one supposedly the suicide bomber (if it was0 himself, the doctors were luckily on the scene instantly due to the blast happening right outside the medical council headquaters. I was also very impressed by Blair's second statement and the speech made by Ken livingstone- very moving I thought.

in other news- I survayed with pictures of Bodom, which member of the band girls found the most attractive(FTR album insert) Alexi got 0 votes... the overwhelming winner was keyboardist Janne who nearly all the 10 or so girls thought was... Henkka got a couple too.

Dutch babies are like an over-baked pancake made of eggs, milk, and flower. When they're cooked, you flavor them with lemon or lime juice and powdered sugar.

Janne and Henkka are very hot indeed, but I definately think Alexi surpasses them all. Also, Janne and Henkka are very photogenic; Alexi isn't. When I really started to like Alexi, it was after I had watched the Trashed in Helsinki video. He's got a great smile, but it doesn't show in pictures taken of him.

I know a couple desserts I could send you the recipes for. They require no heat-based cooking or skill whatsoever. All you have ot be able to do is move your hand clockwise and put things in the freezer.

No, no, no. You ahve the lemon and the sugar...the sugar cancels out the sourness of the lemon giving you a rather nice taste. :thumb:

Man today was one of the worst days ever my throat is so messed up I was terrified over my unle in england and I got a load of hassle of my boss and some customers and I thought I was gonna get stabbed an hour before by a guy I use to know.

Worst summer day I have had.
