I just mean in my case. You only get a few extra notes and the fingering (lol) is different.

Drop tunings I think are kind of cheap too, because you can make chords without the intended fingerings (lol).

it mostly has to do with different tones/timbre and chord voicings

this is a pretty general question, but i have a huge lack of grind in my music collection. who are the top 5 bands to check out? i have a few grind bands like Anal C[I]u[/I]nt, Ed Gein (i think theyre grind), and The Locust

Those three bands kind of suck.
