Just saw this comment and got a kick out of it... because wouldn't a girl who is good at milking cows be good at... other extracurricular activities that require the same motion on a similar-in-shape male body part?
Oh you crazy crazy labrador. :p

Anyway, I try to be objective in life. I try to narrow choices to either black, or white, whichever suits me better. Because that's the only really, really good thing I learned about logics: There's no gray in logic, there's either black or white. There is or there isn't. That's how it works in my decisions with life.

I don't think the whole turning to girls/boys after being battered by the opposite sex is healthy. I mean, sure it's the quickest way out of it, plus the sensitivity and/or brutal manhood you get from your significant other is just... such a nice thing. Despite I probably am the only guy among my friends that doesn't really like a girl at the moment (or say, for healthy periods of time), I wouldn't go gay because of that... It feels awkward trying to get what you get from the "other sex" out of your own.

I hope that's readable. but yeah basic idea: "bend it like Beckham" is a fantastic movie.

Jom 03-09-2006 10:17 PM
So, damn, I don't know quite how to word this because "turning gay" isn't quite right.
I didn't say that. : |

Chaindrive 03-09-2006 10:21 PM

I know you didn't; it popped into my mind and I decided it wasn't what I wanted to say.

Orlando...live a few more years on this earth and you might see why it happens: straight/gay/bi.

Junooni 03-09-2006 10:25 PM

Bend It Like Beckham IS an awesome movie, only b/c it features the late, great, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in the soundtrack..

tere bin nahin lagda dil..nahin lagda dill

Oh you crazy arabs.

TojesDoLan: How do you possibly boil every decision you make down so that it's always black and white.

Pakistani*

Not everything west of Austria is Arab.

My bad. By "arab' I refer to any of those sandy Islam places(:p). No offense intended. I don't know any other term to refer to the whole area.

Junooni 03-09-2006 10:32 PM

Middle East works fine. I'm not offended, I realize that many people have not been exposed to this knowledge, and it's not your fault at all. :D
TojesDoLan: How do you possibly boil every decision you make down so that it's always black and white.
That's what I usually do. The toughest is picking between the black and white.

Chaindrive 03-09-2006 10:39 PM

That's why there's a gray option.

So you're not FORCED to choose.

Special Brew 03-09-2006 10:39 PM

I almost said "oh you crazy middle easterners" but that doesn't look or sound right.

My (ex)best friend converted to Islam, and I got to hang out with him and the other Muslims at his masjid, so I got to learn a bit about the religion. I don't know squat about the countries though.

Junooni 03-09-2006 10:41 PM

He's not your ex-best friend because he converted is he?

That's great that you visited a masjid, dude. Good to spread the love. I've visited a couple churches myself.

Chaindrive 03-09-2006 10:42 PM

I really wish I knew more about this. I'm so ignorant when it comes to the middle east.

Special Brew 03-09-2006 10:43 PM

Nah, we parted ways because he moved, and he kind of went crazy because his father shot himself. :-/

To be honest, the people I met at the masjid were far nicer and accepting than anyone I've ever met at a church.

Junooni 03-09-2006 10:45 PM

Wow..

That's what I've mostly heard, no offense.

Chaindrive 03-09-2006 10:59 PM

Adnan (please tell me I got your name right), who was your last post directed to?

Special Brew 03-09-2006 11:01 PM

I believe it was meant towards me. :s

Junooni 03-09-2006 11:02 PM

Woo! you got it right. And yep, it was to Damien Rhodes here.

Chaindrive 03-09-2006 11:08 PM

Ok, cool on both counts.

I think D's done some looking into Islam. I think.

dazmo 03-09-2006 11:11 PM

which one of u is damien rhodes?

Chaindrive 03-09-2006 11:16 PM

Wizard. is Damien.

Jom 03-09-2006 11:16 PM

^ Wizard (will probably be late, but whatev)
That's why there's a gray option.

I don't really buy that. Adding more colors doesn't solve anything.

I'm talking about just me, here. I'm not saying my way works for everyone, because it doesn't. I have enough self-concept to know that.

Chaindrive 03-09-2006 11:18 PM

You'll get there. Or you'll have mental problems because you didn't get there. :p

Jom 03-09-2006 11:23 PM

Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm not going insane anytime soon.

Chaindrive 03-09-2006 11:25 PM

"That's the way, uh huh, uh huh, I WANT it, uh huh, uh huh."

Junooni 03-09-2006 11:28 PM

That's the way, uh huh, uh huh, i LIKE it, uh huh, uh huh.

I just found my copy of the Space Jam soundtrack yesterday. Coincidence? I think not.

Chaindrive 03-09-2006 11:30 PM

What else is on that? And I twisted the words of the song for Jom.

Junooni 03-09-2006 11:33 PM

You want me to upload it for you?

It's got:

01 Fly Like an Eagle
02 The Winner
03 Space Jam
04 I Believe I Can Fly
05 Hit 'Em High (The Monstars' Anthem)
06 I Found My Smile Again
07 For You I Will
08 Upside Down ('Round-n-'Round)
09 Givin U All That I ve Got
10 Basketball Jones
11 I Turn to You
12 All of My Days
13 That s the Way (I Like It)
14 Buggin

Chaindrive 03-09-2006 11:35 PM

I'd say yes, but I'm on stupid dialup. :upset:

Good songs, all, though.

Junooni 03-09-2006 11:38 PM

Ah, sympathies. See if you can pick it up somewhere.

My mom said "That's the Way" came out when she was in college. Is it really that old? She's in her 40s too.
