I had my last tutorials and lectures today, actually. But my exams are also after Christmas.

You'll do fine, I'm sure.
Yea, I hear a lot of college exams are complete jokes. A lot of freshmen tell me they study for like 5 hours a day and then the test takes some extremely little time.
So on monday im getting operated because of my toes. I demand to know who has told you this, so I can go step on them.
So on monday im getting operated because of my toes. I have an ingrown toenail on both my big toes...which sucks.
I had a similar surgery this past summer. While at uni last year, I was playing basketball. I was guarding a 300+ kid, because I was the only one who came within 100 pounds of him. So, I matched him up. He stepped on my foot, breaking my big toe into two pieces. One of the pieces lodged down into my toe, instantly becoming infected. When I returned back to my permanent residence, I went and had surgery. I got to watch it the entire time. It was hilarious. First of all, the doctor's assistant was five hundred steps above attractive. When it was just me and her in the operating room, I was in a happy place. Then, the doctor comes in, picks up my foot, and sticks a 6"-long needle into my foot, giving me a nerve block. Within twenty minutes, my foot felt like a piece of meat. He punches it, asking if I felt anything. Answer = no. I start laughing because I'm shocked I can't feel anything. Then, he takes a knife, and cuts off three parts of my toe in three quick slices. My toe looks ridiculously mishapen. He then takes pliers, and pries open my toe. Remember, I am watching this the whole time. He washes it out, and then takes a 6" Q-tip and SHOVES it up my foot. I was cracking up. Hot assistant girl was laughing to, probably because I was laughing for no reason at all except out of shock. He then starts cleaning out my toe. Then, he takes huge scissors and cuts off the rest of my toenail. He then takes the knife and cuts off more sections of my toe that were infected. He then bandaged it up. My toe still is completely mangled to this day, and the toenail has not completely grown back. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v607/frozeninshadows/01recovery.jpg I wish I had a picture of hot assistant girl instead :( |
My old neighbor.
Since we're continuing this conversation... I've had three "operations" on my toes. They were completely painless but after the first one you get sick of it... The last three or so paragraphs are very interesting, Jom. NP: Sonata Arctica- Last Drop Falls |

That it is. And my toe isn't back to normal either. I want to bump the Metallica thread... I was the last poster, over a day ago. |

The worst part leading up to the surgery is that I couldn't walk without it hurting, because everytime I put pressure on my big toe pus would squirt out. It made for some nasty socks. After, I was able to buy all new socks, which made me happy :-D
And yeah, it was a lot of fun watching the surgery. In all the various surgeries I've had, I've had to be put under... but nope, not for my foot. Hope yours goes well.
Hot assistant girl???
Gorgeous. All she did was hand the doctor all the tools. Then, she had to handle the pieces of my toe. Poor girl. I felt bad for her. But at least she was wearing surgery gloves. |

Many people step on them at school too. That hurts like hell. I put bandages, so my foot is all tight in my shoes and when ever i walk, it hurts..I cant wait to get rid of it. |
Well have fun with that surgery, hope it goes well.

Jeremy disabled it to protect the site from Chad is the speculation regarding that. Also, most vB code is disabled. |
It's sad, why must Chad do this?
