i think someone hacked the site...theres an announcement about it at the top of the page. SOAD are a really good band too, the song hypnotize is great |
Well the reason Dam and Johnny arnt on STA is because they are from the ST sessions.
I like STA, they reason I said that is because, the vast majority of fans had already heard the album before toxicity came out. To me the album just seemed like a half assed attempt to make and album and thusly more money. The album isnt bad they're some great songs on it, but you've got to remember, at the end of the day STA is just the songs that where not good enough for toxicity.
........:amaze: No. People had heard unfinished beta tracks that weren't meant to be heard in the first place. After actually being approved to be distributed by the band(meaning the bass lines, etc were complete), they released the CD so people wouldn't associate the "half-assed" versions with the band. And finally, all the songs had been completed along with what was on Toxicity, but you obviously can't put 30 songs on a CD. I don't know where you got that "not good enough" stuff from. And for the record, I prefer STA more than Toxicity. The way it was released just seems less appealing to people I suppose.
Can someone explain to me what Radio Video is about and what inspired it?
Danny & Lise = Darons childhood friends. "Hey man look at me rockin out im on the radio...!". Its a tribute song. He doesn't even know if they listen to SOAD or not. But i'd imagine its a cool shoutout. |

There are songs on STA which I prefare over Toxicity, Im not slating the album Im just saying the facts. Highway Song is actually my favorite SOAD song :thumb: |
Highway Song is great. Too bad they don't play it very much.
For some reason i like the live version of kill rock 'n' roll better than the album version.
its because the drums are better on the live version:thumb: . thats my opinion |
I got the real Hypnotize yesterday night for Christmas :thumb:
They package thing is so cool. It's just so awesome. It make up for Mezmerize sucking. |
For some reason i like the live version of kill rock 'n' roll better than the album version.
I like them both equal, it's one of my favorites. |
Hypnotize is one of those songs that will get stuck in my head all day... But I actually want it stuck there. (unlike madona and cher songs. Damn them  ) I just got a bit of christmas money, and thats gonna be one of the CD's I'm getting.

Hey Lilly, fancy meeting you here ! :)
Yeah, Radio/Video is really good. Cigaro makes me luagh. |
Yesterday I saw a kid with Mesmerize in his hands. I almost told him to get Hypnotize or s/t instead. But I thought it would be funnier if I let him buy it.
Then I saw the girl I like. She said hi. / sakes his head at how much a loser he is. |

It's definetley not as good as any of their other albums though.
|
I have both mezmerize and hypnotize. When you listen to them together, they sound ace! I'm a big fan of Kill Rock n' Roll. Its damn catchy.
|
Just because you dont like Mezmerize doesnt mean everyone else wont
But I'm trying to help the kid out. Yeah, he should get it (I do have it:p ) but he should get a better one first so that he buys the other ones. |
You dont even know him, He could have everything SOAD have ever produced
:amaze: |
I got the real Hypnotize yesterday night for Christmas :thumb:
They package thing is so cool. It's just so awesome. It make up for Mezmerize sucking.
I personally thought that hypnotize sucked compared to mezmerize. Hypnotize still had some good songs but overall the album wasn't as good. That's just my opinion but everybody has their own. |
Hypnotize and their self titled album are the best
Hypnotize has a couple funky songs with hard driving music and lyrics System of a down(album) has some of the most catchy metal songs of their history and is the best and i dont wanna flame them becuz theyre one of my favorite bands but steal this album wasnt my taste and toxicity had too many fillers i think and mesmerize was just a bit too many pop like songs |
You dont even know him, He could have everything SOAD have ever produced
:amaze:
If he had every one, why would he be buying Mesmerize. Shouldn't he have it? Anyway, let's end this and call it a draw. soooo... how's the weather? |
