They're still metalcore, just more on the hardcore side of things.

I suck at choosing my favourite bands etc. I'm just really indecisive but idk my favourite metalcore would probably be:

Converge
Fear Before The March of Flames (would they count as metalcore?)
Poison The Well
Skycamefalling
Botch

I'd count their first two albums as metalcore.

Art Damage is a good, interesting take on Botch.
