135lbs.
All in all, I lost about 15lbs and I've just got back to weightlifting.
I'm working about 20lbs an arm at the moment, but for maximum liftage, I could probably handle around maybe 30 for one rep.

thats stupid as hell!!!! dont ever do that

the thing about weight lifting that everyone does wrong as they see it as "hey i wanna lift this much, then ill be kewl/strong"

you need to keep in mind that form is the most important thing in weight training. If you cant keep perfect form, you should never be doing the weight

8-10 reps is what you want

kurrpt 02-03-2005 02:12 PM

if u want more of a description, no problem. But like i said, if you have perfect form, then you will build the muscle properly, you wont risk getting hurt, which could hinder your muscle growth.

Free weight are the best, because they use surrounding muscle groups at the same time. Dont be one of those guys that just works your arms out, unless you wanna look goofy

Oh no, I don't train with 30lbs, I train with 20lbs, I can get around 12reps on that.
I was just saying 30 as what I could probably lift maximum.

i wasnt saying would u did, or didnt do. I was just saying stay away from the meathead/macho mentality

if you are gonna "train" its good to do like 2 sets of 8-10 reps each (maintaing form cant be stressed enuff, hence i repeat myself) If you're all about working out your arms, which i can kinda tell, make sure you take a day off in between training days

like monday wednesday friday kinda deal

BritItch 02-03-2005 02:17 PM

there is no emo without me..

BritItch 02-03-2005 02:24 PM
