Who in here likes Joe Satriani I got his Surfing With the Alien cd today, and its pretty good.

Badmoon 02-26-2005 01:53 PM

It's a pretty good album.

thickasabrick 02-26-2005 04:20 PM
Anyone here like Fleetwood Mac? 'Cause I've really been getting into them recently, and I've heard Rumours is their best album, and I've been thinking of buying it. Any suggestons?
I've got about four or five or their albums. Rumours is the best. It's not entirely the type of music I normally listen to, but it cheers you up. Some of their other albums are just entirely filler with maybe one or two decent songs. I don't wanna make them sound completely crappy, because they aren't. They wrote good songs, but I think they focused more on writing good singles, than good albums.

I tried shrooms last night and it was quite amazing. I wish I didn't smoke so much weed before and during because I'm pretty sure it could have been a much stronger trip. Me and my friend talked for about three hours straight after we came down, it's as if we just opened our eyes and realized everything there is to know about the universe. We also recorded a lot of stuff on a tape recorder. And I played guitar for about an hour straight, it was kinda hard to do, I wasn't very coordinated...but every note I played just sounded perfect as if I was playing everything as it was meant to be played.

edit- What's your favourite out of those Byrds albums Badmoon? I only have Younger Than Yesterday.

What is the best Led Zeppelin early days compilation?

Is it early days?
or remasters?

I already have all their early days albums so it doesn't matter. I've looked up the tracklisting, and I agree with you.

Distant Echoes 02-26-2005 05:19 PM

Early Days got me into Zeppelin...which ultimatly led to my classic rock change.

But personally, i dont think there is one bad song made from Houses of the Holy backward...so id find somebody with all the LZ CDs and burn them.

EDIT: Just read your post ^^^

I personally thing Physical Griffiti's first disc is genius, but second disc wouldve been better off unreleased (except Ten years gone).

But for best compilation of their tracks, id say early/latter days, though their are probably as many zep greatest hits as their are Original CDs now, so i wouldnt know

Maybe Ill try them next week or acid which ever comes first. A few people are selling snurfs for 2.50 they say they are XTC and acid but that wouldn't make scents.

Has anybody tried coc or XTC?

Badmoon 02-26-2005 07:55 PM

Just bought Nashville Skyline

I'll have questions reguarding it later. I also posted a review about 4 hours ago.

jpj 02-26-2005 08:00 PM

Aww man, I just read a review for it on Amazon, and it said they show interviews in the middle of songs. I hate when they do that, it ruins what could be a perfectly good DVD. No wonder it was only 11.99 :(

FUCK!

Badmoon 02-26-2005 08:06 PM

The interviews are cool. You actually get opinion from te artists. What is cooler than that?

jpj 02-26-2005 08:08 PM

Watching Blue Sky live is cooler, that's what. If they wanted to put interviews in they should just put them as special features.

LSD and Shrooms are very similar, except that LSD last around 10 to 12 hours, while Shrooms only last around 6 hours.
LSD and Shrooms are very similar, except that LSD last around 10 to 12 hours, while Shrooms only last around 6 hours.
Here, maybe this will add emphasis to my point. Let's talk about possibilites and impossiblities.

Shrooms:

No matter how much you take, you will have at least a small grip upon reality. Out of body experiences, mix up of sense, random discolorasions (spl?), etc are possible.

LSD

You will most likely lose all grip of reality. Out of body experiences happen, and so do scenario changes. Mood swings are greater, and they are harder to change. One minute you can be in your home, the next you can be 100 feet beneath the sea.

My older friend does each commonly, and he vents the differences upon me and my friends all the time.
