The name will come to you; and if it doesn't, your character doesn't need one. That's the way I see it.

Then it's probably an Afrikaner thing. But nothing beats Breyten Breytenbach. That's a funny name.

If I don't give it a name, I should write it in the first person, though. Otherwise it will get confusing at times. Issues of whom I am referring to and such.

I'm thinking maybe 'Robert', like the French-ish pronunciation.
