Angry Balled Fists! 07-28-2005 11:24 AM

Thaks you very much, i'll take a listen after i come on after my dinner.
I Want Your Salvation Woooah!
You know it.

Even though i barely listen to them now, they still are the greatest.

Understanding In a Crash 07-28-2005 11:27 AM

Yeah I'm trying to learn all their songs on bass on the Lets Go album.

The pickslide in that song sounds so cool...

cbmartinez 07-28-2005 11:33 AM

Dan, you should've got a PTW album.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-28-2005 11:49 AM

Hmm, i was thinking of getting it but id ecided that TSOPTC is just an aamzing album and that i should have it and that seeing as though Thrice are one of my fave bands i should have at least one of their CD's in real.

cbmartinez 07-28-2005 11:50 AM

Marigold is the greatest band ever.

Presenting the most beautiful song of all time, Konstantine, by Something Corporate.
I don't agree with that to be honest. It's practically a 9 minute ballad, but it isn't the most beautiful song ever written in my eyes
I don't agree with that to be honest. It's practically a 9 minute ballad, but it isn't the most beautiful song ever written in my eyes
What would be your choice then? I love pretty, ballad-y songs.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-28-2005 11:54 AM

It seems pretty good.

Sup Kif ?

Most beautiful song ever? Jeez, I don't even think that could be in the pop-punk genre. I honestly don't know.

In pop-punk, I'd say either "Hear You Me" by Jimmy Eat World, "I'll Catch You" by The Get Up Kids or "Play Crack The Sky" by Brand New

Not much, just been watching my favourite episode of 24 ever. It's in season 3, so I won't talk about it since you haven't seen it. Then I had a good spree on GTA:SA

Drum Boy 07-28-2005 12:00 PM

Hmmm, i always meant to get GTA:SA but never got round to it, worth buying?

Angry Balled Fists! 07-28-2005 12:02 PM

Yeah, theres a triple bill on tomorow :D

Untitled 07-28-2005 12:02 PM

I like it, not played it in a while because my PS2 is buggerd. Typical isnt it, we have a ps2 for 3 month and it breaks, xbox for 2 and a half years in perfect condition, thats why there built like a house. Anyway, yes.

I might buy it for Xbox.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-28-2005 12:04 PM

The only game i'm interested in buying before the new gen is Zelda - Twilight Princess...

Man, refused rule.

Kif 07-28-2005 12:06 PM

I'm seriously considering getting a PSP now. Assuming I have the money after my birthday, I might get one if I don't want anything else. Although I'd like 24 season 4 and Scrubs season 1 on DVD.

NP: Muse - Unintended

Don't know why I'm listening to this, just am. It's quite a sad song when you think about it

Lollerskates

Angry Balled Fists! 07-28-2005 12:08 PM

I can't be bothered with games at the moiment, i'm more interested in buying music at the moment.

Handhelds are pointless imo...

I agree with Hear You Me, that is the only song that is nearly as, or more, beautiful than Konstantine.

Untitled 07-28-2005 12:11 PM

I love playing Forza Motersport, but no good games seem to be coming out recently.

Handhelds are good, but i think there too advance now, i know the new ones look pretty amazing for a hand held, there also expensive and i wouldnt take them outside, ever.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-28-2005 12:12 PM

Yeah, PSP's are too expensive and not worth risking getting stilen...

I might see if I can record Konstantine for school. I dunno

I might also record and acoustic version of Armor For Sleep's "Car Underwater" tomorrow. I dunno about that either.

NP: Jack's Mannequin - The Mixed Tape

It's official, I am addicted

billiejoe84 07-28-2005 12:14 PM

I just did a quiz that says I'm more of an emo fag than 76% of people. That seems a little harsh... I don't even have black hair or weep during masturbation.

yeah, and they look hella fragille, and im prone to droping things.

chumpradio 07-28-2005 12:15 PM

I only recently realised how amazing Andrew McMahon is.
I heard that song If You See Jordan years ago, and didn't like it at the time. Then you showed me JM, and I heard Konstantine, and now I love him.

I was thinking of doing an acoustic version of Konstantine actually. It's mostly the same chords all the way through, just with a bit of variation on how they're played. I think I need to carry on practicing singing a bit more first though. I'm getting better though...

Angry Balled Fists! 07-28-2005 12:16 PM

There too much money, think about it, when in a car or bus, what would you rather do, listen to your music or play games and get it nicked and/or look like a kid :-/

I dont mind looking like a kid, but geting it pinched or breaking it im worryed about. There also too big to put in my pocket, the only place i would play them is on my bed, or in my living room. And i play my xbox on the the end of my bed and could easily take it to the living room.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-28-2005 12:20 PM

Yup...

Yeah I know nearly all the lyrics off by heart, and I think I can sing it OK. Except for the "I'm not your star" bit where Andrew's voice get's mega-high.

"iF U C Jordan" is a weird song, more radio-friendly. I like the video though, lots of hot girls in short skirts and Andrew rocking out on piano.

Haha yeah, I'm sure it does look very childish playing games on the bus on a PSP. I wouldn't mind it for at school or something, I have a lot of free periods

Untitled 07-28-2005 12:23 PM

At college we just walk up to Gamestation or Game and go on the free games they have set up.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-28-2005 12:23 PM

Yeah, i guess.

Its a lot of money aswell as games, extra memory, and other things you may have...

Drum Boy 07-28-2005 12:25 PM

Well just to say, that PSP is the coolest thing ever, my freind got one, and its just incredible, the graphics and all! Where was that quiz btw?

billiejoe84 07-28-2005 12:26 PM

Yeah that bit is hard.... Try going falsetto for the one note. My falsetto is becoming teh roxx0r from singing everything in it
At college we just walk up to Gamestation or Game and go on the free games they have set up.
Cheeky!

I can't say I haven't done that though. I spent so long in Toys R Us on a Mario game for Gamecube once. I can't remember which one, the one with the water cannon I think.

We usually go down to the pub and play pool

Firecracker 07-28-2005 12:32 PM

Good evening.

There's a revolt at work! Some people, including me, are getting really PISSED OFF with loads of people because they are shit at everything. The tin cans section (ie baked beans and soup) is a complete mess, it's honestly like a bomb site, it's diabolical, apart from the front of the shelf, that looks lovely, but the back is another story.

WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST DO IT RIGHT!???

Why the hell can't they be bothered to just try and do it everytime they do it, if they don't it's just gonna get gayer and gayer, until nobody wants to live anymore. And don't even get me started on the dates, i seriously want to kill myself when i do date checking, because there are about 17 different dates in one row of let's say spaghetti hoops, and they are all over the place, over stacked, on their sides, everywhere.

ARGH AND IT'S SO ANNOYING!!!

Sorry, just to get that out my system.

I'm sure I've heard a cover of Konstantine, but we have to do a completely acoustic version of it for music tech. Well, I would if I want to. No electric instruments, which would be awkward
