You know what? I'm digging Lil' Wayne.
Huh.
he's got a good verse on "hollywood divorce" unlike andre... |
get past it, because "It Ain't Hard to Tell" is even better.
man, that song + good headphones = astounding.
Oh man, I was about to say the same thing. Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Mos Def - Black on Both Sides The Bronx - The Bronx Spoon - Girls Can Tell The former two are pretty great, but the latter two are amazing. |
sticky sticky sticky sticky
Dinosaur Jr. - You're Living All Over Me Woah, dude. Yeah, woah. |
Leftöver Crack - Fuck World Trade
|
I'm digging the Team America soundtrack. Fun stuff.
|
Hot Snakes - Automatic Midnight
|
Amongst a bunch of other stuff;
Aereogramme - Sleep and Release Was kind of disappointing - kind of really disappointing - at first, but the second half really picked up. I prefer A Story in White so far, though. Also listened to some Imogen Heap on Wednesday night, commiserating the fact that I was missing seeing her live at the time. |
I've always wondered if the slap bass was added in in the re master or if it was original.
Ew, ew, ew. The bass an drums on your CD are re-taken, and completely ridiculous. |
Serge Gainsbourg in the morning. I had a weird dream last night, can't really remember it but I've been up since 3am. Bonnie and Clyde is like java, and I'm not talking scripting. Two weeks from now, I hope to have put together a Francophile theme show for my radio thing. This week, I'm doing an ode to seasonal change through soul tunes. It's all done, took me a whole hour but in the meanwhile I've been schooling myself on the awesomeness that is Stevie Wonder's "Superwoman." Amazing song.

Notorious B.I.G - Ready To Die
Dizzee Rascal - Showtime |
Pink Grease
|
These Arms are Snakes and Minus The Bear. And Fall Of Troy. I believe that's enough said.
|
pretty depressed today, but I'm trying to not play anything too overtly sad...
Pale Saints - The Comforts of Madness Svalastog - Woodwork |
Stars "Set Yourself On Fire"
|
Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
the most fucking badass album of all time |
if by most fucking badass you mean great, then yeah
|
Neil Young - Tonight's The Night
|
I couldn't make it past the fifth or sixth song in the stream.
|
Stephen Malkmus - Face the Truth
Been a year since I listened to this. Now I'm digging it loads more. |
he's got a good verse on "hollywood divorce"
unlike andre...
Ouch |
Can't stop listening to Jurassic 5 lately. Quality Control and Feedback. I love Work It Out, the song they did with Dave Matthews, it's so...relaxing.
|
Joe Jackson is awesome. Amanda introduced me to Look Sharp! like a year ago, he's good.
The Shins - Chutes Too Narrow After watching Garden State tonight, I put this on, and something about it clicked. Something about it never quite appealed to me, but now I'm really liking it. |
who's joe jackson
|
jack's younger brother, he's the skater
|
16 Horsepower - Folklure
My review of this will be up when I resume it. |
The Hold Steady - Boys and Girls in America
Fact: this is probably the best album ever made. Fact: it's almost as good as Separation Sunday. |
