Seriously I know, hasn't been updated since February. At least Alex on Corrupt finds something to complain about every 20 minutes.

Route_1 04-13-2009 12:04 AM

Idk, corrupt is sort of weak imo

Nostalgia 04-13-2009 12:08 AM

How so? The new Linkola book is going to boost its popularity I think. However, I think we can expect a citizens' revolution any time soon, considering the fact that the Corrupt readership is starting to turns its back on the columnists. Alex started to slowing introduce a whole new direction for the site to follow, but it's not working. He completely changed his views and convictions in a matter of days, and a lot of people aren't buying it.

Angmar 04-13-2009 12:08 AM

Corrupt hates Democracy and doesn't afraid of anything.

they focus too much on stuff like fashion and sports idk. They also just put out a bunch of little blurbs everyday and don't say that much.

I like prozak's stuff because I like to just sit back and read his more in-depth analysis of things. Just person preference I guess.

How did alex change his views?

Nostalgia 04-13-2009 12:32 AM

He used to be more pro revolution, in the sense that if enough people collected themselves together and formed a union, there could be a chance to fulfill what Corrupt was after (return of traditional living, totalitarianism, abolishing multiculturalism, etc).

But I think he realized his readership was comprised of a group of 'armchair intellectual' teenagers afraid to integrate with society, and thus changed Corrupt's direction to a more self-improvement blog rather than a 'change-the-world-blog. Also, Brett Stevens withdrew from Corrupt numerous times, and he was much, much more aggressive than Alex. He believed anyone with an IQ below 120 should probably be lethally injected, and overall took more of a Prozak approach to things. Also, Corrupt added a lot more columnists to the site - many in which conflicted with the message Corrupt was trying to deliver.

Stevenes was a good writer, but most of his ideas were far too absurd to ever work. Plus, if you slaughtered those below 120IQ you'd pretty much rid your society of a middle class all together. I don't think he understood the consequences to most the stuff he preached about, but ahh well.

Route_1 04-13-2009 12:50 AM

I see. Well I suppose those are "extreme" views, but changing it to a self help blog is sort of funny. I don't get much from reading their's, that is why i like prozak much better because I actually take something away from each of his articles to think about.

Nostalgia 04-13-2009 12:57 AM

When you dig deem into Birch's and Prozak's thinking, there's a lot of similarities and a lot of differences.

I find it funny how ANUS supports recreational pot smoking, haha.
Anyone else enjoy Bilskirnir? The only material I haven't listened to is new EP, however I think it is one of the better BM acts that comes out of Germany.
For Victory We Ride is great, haven't heard anything else, though.

Niflheim II 04-13-2009 09:37 AM

New Beherit sounds like beefed up Bathory pretty much at points. Last track was the best, probably because it was take from his ambient albums.

Why are we discussing these braindead internet blog retards? The fact theyre putting up these little blogs/statements on the net trying to action change or revolution proves how clueless and misguided they are.

"But I think he realized his readership was comprised of a group of 'armchair intellectual' teenagers afraid to integrate with society, and thus changed Corrupt's direction to a more self-improvement blog rather than a 'change-the-world-blog."

Readership is populated with "armchair intellectuals?" Who cares, thats exactly what the authors are composed of so I don't see the issue, maybe their little blog world gives them a sense of being a part of something but id think the delusions would be better kept to themselves.

From "change the world" to "self help", cool whats next, vegan cooking or something? Seems like logical progression. Who wants change, only destruction is real, arrrrrrgggghhhh

Angmar 04-13-2009 09:39 AM

Hey Austin has to get his political views from SOMEWHERE!

Route_1 04-13-2009 09:43 AM

arrrrrrgggghhhh!

what prozak is saying needs to be said though. If it can change the mind of at least one person it served it's purpose.

Niflheim II 04-13-2009 09:59 AM

No, it doesn't. The basis of what prozak is saying should be obvious to anyone with half a brain, he just puts his own stupid spin on it. If people need someone to change their minds for them then thats pretty sad, especially if its some worthless internet blogger theyre gonna latch on to. People need to use their brain more ( I know, its so hard to ask) and read less into stuff like this so they can stop getting people to form opinions for them. Though im not sure if most people buying into stuff like this are capable of having their own thoughts, or should be allowed to:rolleyes:.

I don't necessarily think that changing someone's mind is "sad". I think it is good when someone rejects a stupid worldview for one that works, even if it does take some convincing to get the person to do it. I mean, every one of us here has been convinced to do something that would benefit us, so I do not think that this is much different, or bad.

I totally agree that people need to use their brain more, and finding useful information involves using it. People should not hail prozak as some sage, but just take what makes sense to them and put it to use. All good ideas come from some source(s).

Niflheim II 04-13-2009 10:08 AM

Right, but prozak is hardly a worthwhile source for anything...

Also, what do you mean by a worldview that works? Makes little sense to me...

Route_1 04-13-2009 10:11 AM
Right, but prozak is hardly a worthwhile source for anything...

Well whether you take something away from what he writes is purely subjective. I just like the point of view he has on the modern world.

To me, a worldview that works is one that doesn't get caught up in retarded material things. Consumerism, religion and whatnot. Basically what our society is right now.

Niflheim II 04-13-2009 10:15 AM

Right, that worldview works for you. I just don't understand people who're gonna read something then form their worldview around an article on some online blog. I guess im talking about the people who will read something new and without much thought be like "OK I believe this now!", until something different comes around , quite a common occurence.

Oh, well yeah those people are basically hipsters. They cling onto some "dangerous idea" and claim to believe in it to look "different". They'll drop it and move on to the next thing soon enough, though.

If you hear or read something that you agree with, you should think about it for a while and subject it to rigorous thought. If agreed with, just use it as a supplement to your own beliefs, not just base everything around a single thought.

the quote they posted from it just makes it seem like every other anti-modern manifesto type book

idk

though i guess the ideas might be new to alot of people that might be exposed to the book, no matter how rehashed they are...

More than just hipsters I assure you.

Your second paragraph is part of the problem im talking about. If you have to make yourself believe in something then theres a very very good chance what youre believing in is a load of ****. People have to believe in things to give them some sort of comfort/validity and/or because they think they will never know I guess. I for one have now discovered going by and practicisng what you know/seen/experienced for yourself to be real is much more rewarding than any ideology or beliving in others thoughts in books/blogs etc and forming your view that way. Too many people think the answer will lie in some obscure texts or philosophy when thats the last place youre gonna find them. Not to say I don't enjoy reading on certain related subjects but I do it out of my own interest, not to look for something to grab on to. I am sure such deep, insightful and esoteric thought will be lost on you peons but oh well.
