Jim your just jealous that Britany totally wants Styler.
You had your chance but you had to bust your leg open in the football game and miss half of the semester.

styler 01-03-2006 02:02 AM

^^ im so confused :(

Blank 01-03-2006 02:05 AM

Yeah.
I've been saying some pretty idiotic things today :(
To change the subject......have you guys heard the song Fire by Hendrix?
Excelent drumming.

Yea, Mitch Mitchells awesome, I love his style...

Lots of straight 16th snare fills, but he makes it fit so well with hendrix's playing...

My band is actually somewhat covering that... At least we played it last time we had practice, I don't know if we'll keep going with it...

Talos 01-03-2006 03:37 AM

All Along the Watchtower is a fun song to play, me and my Bro did a drum-guitar cover.

Anyways, I came in here to ask what do you get in the shell packs? Do you get a throne, a bass pedal, a hi-hat stand, etc.

Cheers

Drum Phil 01-03-2006 04:21 AM

Punkdrummer are you black?...i always picture you as being black (not in a racist way)

Drum Phil 01-03-2006 11:53 AM

My new "band" is gonna be awesome. We're recording our first demo as just the two of us doing all 3 instruments and vocals. If it all goes well we may find a bassist to acompany us.

Toxic Youth: Psychobilly in the vein of Tiger Army and Nekromantix. Odd drum patterns, thumping bass and clean guitar.

More like tripleted everything, and yes mitch mitchell is one of the drummers that got me INTO druming in the first place. Not lars ulrich. Ive done numerous reports where I basicly just stand up in my speach class and talk about how hes the cooliest ****er on the face of the planet.

My name is mitch to, so that rocks cocks.

You racist bastard!(I kid, I kid) You have oppressed my people for long enough!

No, I'm not black. I do talk a bit like I am though. However, being that I live in FL, I am fluent in Whigger and Cuban, which is different than spanish, becuase you have to talk extremely loud and annoyingly, and use the word "Baya" every two seconds.

MMMMMM. Psychobilly, I gotta say, though, I'm a much bigger fan of punkabilly/rockabilly.

Panopticon 01-03-2006 11:57 AM

Im obsessed with Tiger Army at the minute. Nick 13's voice is awesome. Plus they have Masuimi Max in one of their videos. Their drummer has some odd beats too. We're covering Tiger Army - Ghost Tigers Rise. I need an FX pedal to make my bass sound like an upright

-TheGlassPrison- 01-03-2006 01:59 PM

Can you guys who have recorded before go check out my thread in G&M called "Recording Question" please?

I consider myself somewhat of an animal lover.
I can't really be horribly mean to them. They're so cute and cuddly, and they don't judge you when you've got a meaty slab of steak dangling from your fingers. They're kind of like the ultimate companion for humans.
I think I might like to live with them more than people.
The animal kingdom is so beautiful and diverse, too.
So many wonderfully intelligent species living in harmony, making the world a better place. Dolphins, monkies, kitties, ducks...
All amazing creatures.
But you know what?
Turkies fucking suck.
A lot.
Twenty-two of them are living in my backyard.

EQ3 maybe. And get a Tama logo sticker too. It looks cool when the kit has the brand name on the bass drum head. The REAL brand name. Some dude on here had a DW kit and had an OCDP sticker to be like barker. What is the world coming to lol

Drum Phil 01-03-2006 03:04 PM

HAHAHAHAHA i just outshotted my dad :D

He spluttered and spat it out :)

-TheGlassPrison- 01-03-2006 03:04 PM

If your going to get an EQ3, why would you put a sticker on it. its a nice head that doesnt need any dampening, and i doubt anyone cares what drums you have.

A sticker hardly adds any dampening. But if he don't want it just drop it.
