I remember the good ol' days of MX. When you could talk about any extreme metal band in here. Be it death metal, black metal, doom metal or any other sub-sub-sub-genre of some other sub-sub-sub-genre. You didn't have a 10 page application followed by a 5 day waiting period to get permission to apply for a certified stamp of approval in order to qualify said band of being acceptable to talk about. And if some extreme metal band came up that might not fit the exact mold, there weren't 500 little mall rats waiting to pounce "d00d that doesn't belong in here" or "that's not relavent" or "that's extreme brutal power thrash jazz, not extreme brutal glam thrash jazz."

I know I'm late, but I just downloaded Goremageddon, and I got to say, I'm pretty impressed with their combination of DM and actually good solos.

Yes, because I've made soooo many posts that are lul worthy...can it be that somebody new actually knows something about music?...sorry for not having 1000s of posts...I guess I will always be a newb huh?...and also the deathcore thread was around loooooong before I joined...and I never talked about powerviolence, I just said it was better than brutal death.
