Jeeze thats like exactly the same vocal line. The guitar is a little different. But the Misfits are one of MEtallicas biggest influences.

BoboTheRagingHobo 08-02-2005 03:32 PM

Stoic : does it have a fixed bridge or a tremolo bridge?

/has a Schecter Omen 6 with emg 81 and 85 setup.

errmm...tremolo I think

/hell I really know nothing!
/why the hell did I spent money on a guitar?!

BoboTheRagingHobo 08-02-2005 03:37 PM

Does it look similar to this :

http://www.musicgearreview.com/dbpix/whammy.jpg

Or more like the bridge on my guitar?

RCA 08-02-2005 03:37 PM

I wince at the words "tremolo bridge". :shivers:

I think I'll head over to the music store later.
Fl00ts 4 tr00 kvlt BLAKK METHULZ

Flutes are cool. I could never learn to blow into into them though when I tried one out in 6th grade.

/me realizes the HUGE innuendo

>_>

<_<

Actually that's one thing flutes are good for. People ask if they can have a go, try to play it and can't even hold it the right way round.

clearvision 08-02-2005 03:39 PM

I used to play flute...but due to orthodontic treatment making me lose my sound once a month I gave up.

RCA 08-02-2005 03:42 PM

Actually that's one thing flutes are good for. People ask if they can have a go, try to play it and can't even hold it the right way round.
Yeah, I had trouble doing that. I think my wrists were facing the wrong way, if I remember correctly. That and everytime I went to play a note, all that you would hear was "phhhhhhhhhhhhh".

evilmenhavenosongs 08-02-2005 03:42 PM

I never practise, I have a natural talent for it really that I could make the most of but this past year or so I've just forgotten about it. I had a really bad year and it just got pushed tp the back, I didn't go to my Grade 3 grading about a year and a half ago because I ran away. I'm gonna get back into it next year hopefully.
Yeah, I had trouble doing that. I think my wrists were facing the wrong way, if I remember correctly. That and everytime I went to play a note, all that you would hear was "phhhhhhhhhhhhh".
One of the rare times I get to feel superior to people. And it's so damn funny.

Lord Abortion 08-02-2005 03:45 PM

hehe... "flute" that's an amusing musical instrument...

along with the triangle of course...

evilmenhavenosongs 08-02-2005 03:47 PM

I resent being compared to the triangle player. They're usually the "special child" who only has the cognitive capacity to hit the thing at the end of a song. :p
One of the rare times I get to feel superior to people. And it's so damn funny.
:upset:

I've got other instruments that I play though. The flute troubles are LONG gone. :D

clearvision 08-02-2005 03:48 PM

I did grade 2 flute...I don't think i ever practiced....

evilmenhavenosongs 08-02-2005 03:49 PM

I can play the pan pipes? And the piano but I'm not so good at that. I picked up the basics on the clarinet in a few hours, I could probably try that...

Stoic 08-02-2005 03:49 PM

fuck, I cant find my guitar's instructions. How am I suppose to put the strings higher? I was just about to start practicing after a long time and give it a last chance! This is a sign to confirme that I'm worthless...

Endless Obsession 08-02-2005 03:50 PM

Flute is still one of the lamest instruments ever. Its not cool to be a flute player. Period.

RCA 08-02-2005 03:50 PM

Stoic, get outta the corner. You are no emo child, you are part of the brotherhood of brutal death!

evilmenhavenosongs 08-02-2005 03:51 PM

Small creatures such as leprechans and pixies play the flute and they're cool.

I'll take Stoic's place in that corner now.

Shred Danson 08-02-2005 03:52 PM

Whammy pedals work wonders.
