so I'm writing out No One Knows by Queens of the Stone Age... I will be playing it for a music project in a couple of weeks... I am currently mixing the live version with the original and I think it's a really fun song! :thumb:

i went to jazz band meeting today 2 hours before school started in the rain fun fun. force 2001 in red 15 in new beats, vintage. 18 in k dark crash. 21 in constantinople big band.(i think it sucks but it was when the other guy was playing, then i played and it sounded better and it made me happy.) and an 18 in oriental trash and a splash. but why the **** is there a china trash. and theres a hh jazz ride that just sits around.

Drum Monkey 01-02-2006 09:25 PM

I'm thinking of switching from my regular cross stick technique to hopen handed aswell during the song... Anyone know any other impressive songs, I feel like trying some out...?

hey im kurtis, im from ca.im in two bands, punk and metal, I play about
5 10song shows a month between both. I dont get paid and niether does our band. on thing i noticed thou is that drummers get sh*t for credit. Ive tried but there is now way to find fame but to play everything fast as hell and to wreck sh*t! anyway if you wanna be a drummer, play it hard and creative.
hopfully one day we'll get a Cd and some sold out concert in Philly but thats
gonna take awile lol. Dont give up man

drumtoke 01-02-2006 09:37 PM

work in 12 hours. tomorrow's gonna be a good day. i actually like going to work on days that i know people i like are going to be working with me. there's only a few people there that i don't fully get along with, and i just avoid them so as not to cause conflict. plus, i'm still training my friend on mastering the pizza. you wouldn't think it, but there's actually alot of little things that take a lot of practice to make consistent pizzas. alot of techniques that are awkward at first, but once you grasp the reason behind them, it becomes alot easier.

Makin pizza from scratch is a real chore, I rarely do it anymore but when I do... OH man is it good

I make a killer deep dish pizza about 2" thick.

it's not too hard making it from scratch once you get some practice. i pop out probably 10-20 pizzas in an hour at work, depending on how busy it is. i like taking my time and making them as close to perfect as i can, but if we're desperate, i can throw one together in less than 3 minutes. stretching and topping. i've got all the "recipes" memorized too, which is a great help, since now i don't have to look over at the piece of paper on the wall for each topping.

i love thin crust pizza, but gourmet dough is amazing. seriously. if you ever order pizza again, get it on gourmet dough. you will not be disappointed. alot harder to work with, but the taste, texture, so much better.

Making pizza from scratch is too complicated for me. I like to just put a Digiorno in the oven and thats it. The 3 meat Digiorno is hella good.

Seafroggys 01-03-2006 12:24 AM

its been so long since i had homemade pizza, my dad made it so well, we have a bread machine to make the dough out of....oh orgasmic!
