I propose the death penalty for scalpers...with all the "big name" shows, they get at least 25% of the tickets...
Here, Here!

I know I'm going to be tampling over people once those tickets hit booths..
Or I might just kill a scalper for his tickets...or badly injure him. One or the other..

I'm such a f*cking fanboy I sound down right weird.. To each his own..

Prying open my Third Eye,
~daniel

Syncratic 09-07-2005 04:27 PM

I hope tickets don't sell out too fast.

I got upwards of $150 for my birthday....would that get me a ticket?

Darkness 09-07-2005 04:31 PM

No.

Syncratic 09-07-2005 04:37 PM

Really?

How much are they?

Dude3 09-07-2005 04:42 PM

WHat are talking about? Tool tickets? Assuming they did go on tour, it would be MUCH cheaper than that. I'm guessing the $30-40's.

Darkness 09-07-2005 04:44 PM

It was a joke dude. :p I imagine more then that though Dude3. Tool would be in the 50s me thinks.

Darkness 09-07-2005 04:48 PM

Go vote Tool guys.

I thought this was worth a double post. :p

Syncratic 09-07-2005 04:50 PM

Sweet, if I'm generous I'll bring a few friends.

With my hair, along goes my intelligence. At least I'm a sexy beast now :D .

I don't know. I guess they may be. I'm not sure. I think they would be cheaper. I don't really see tickets that high unless its either a festival or Metallica, but I guess Tool could pull them up that high if they wanted to.

Darkness 09-07-2005 05:01 PM

Audioslave is was 47.50 (Canadain..), and Tool are more popular. I think they may be a little more expensive.

Esoteric_Creator 09-07-2005 05:11 PM

We don't have a release date, nor a release date for the DVD (just speculation, of course..)

I would give for at least the slightest audio sample of the new album.. Especially with the thought of their take on Dark/Light, it's going to be f*cking insane.. And yet we're already speaking of how many tickets we're going to purchase..

So much anticipation, and it's tearing at the psyche.. But TOOL lives for it, methinks..

POMTE,

I think someone just started that as a rumor. I don't think the band is actually doing that concept.

Darkness 09-07-2005 05:14 PM

That would be sweet if there was 2 disc set, one Dark and one Light.

One Lateralus, one Ænima... sorry...

Huber 09-07-2005 05:16 PM

That's a good point, where'd that whole Dark/Light thing come from?

Darkness 09-07-2005 05:17 PM

I think Jake made it up.

Futuro 09-07-2005 05:22 PM

During the undertow tour my teacher saw them for 15 bucks.

when i saw them for Aenima i payed 25.

as for lateralus they varied. I saw them in tallahasee florida for real cheap (like 10 bucks or something) but when i flew to texas to visit my friend, we payed 35 dollars a ticket. trust me dishing out 50 bucks for a tool show is worth it.

Huber 09-07-2005 05:25 PM

I don't care how much it is, I'm going.

Magicaltroll 09-07-2005 05:27 PM

It was part of the whole scam thing.
The light/dark thing.

Darkness 09-07-2005 05:27 PM
I don't care how much it is, I'm going.
Me to. :thumb: I'd probably pay up to about 450 bucks... thats all I have at the moment...

Oddly, I think theys till pack out shows though. Despite, no? media attention. Quite impressive.

BlindWriting 09-07-2005 06:48 PM

Off topic, but why were the YSI threads closed?

I can imagine quite a few reasons, but why specifically.

chongi 09-07-2005 06:55 PM

not that it really means anything, but i saw red sparowes last weekend, and asked cliff (from isis) if there was the possibility of a tool/isis tour after they release the album, he said yes, i said mmmmm yes

Dude3 09-07-2005 06:57 PM

Faith+1, I must ask. You said your teacher saw them on the Undertow tour? Would this teacher happen to be named Mr.Brubaker?

Kage 09-07-2005 07:06 PM

Ah, you saw Red Sparowes? How were they; I've been dying to see them live. Their debut is one of my favorite albums of this year, or any year.
