That sucks. Clearly the plan backfired anyway.

i dont even know what Tokyo Police Club sounds like but I hate them already. they had their bassist on Onion AV Club's "Random Rules" and he shuffles his iPod, it's all wuss bands like himself, but then this comes up:
…And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, "Days Of Being Wild"

DM: From Source Tags & Codes, which is a good record. It got a 10 on Pitchfork. I think I was, like, 17, and I got this record because Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and Neutral Milk Hotel and Kid A and OK Computer all got 10s on Pitchfork, and they were all life-changing records, and then I was like, "Why would I not buy this record?" It's certainly a good record, but I don't know if it's a 10.
yeah this guy buys records because Pitchfork gives them 10's. and the one time PF is really on the mark, he doesn't even believe it! god im mad at "indie-rock" these days, what a buncha fags

Zmev 05-13-2008 04:01 PM

GTA4 is so good.

Jacaranda 05-13-2008 04:10 PM

i would check out an album if it got a ten just so i could say it sucked without having to totally fake it.

samariah 05-13-2008 04:34 PM

i hate it when i mention a record to someone and they are like "oh it only got a 6 on pitchfork"

pitchfork can lick my peepee

pppoe 05-13-2008 04:42 PM

I don't know anyone who reads Pitchfork. You'd think that would be a good thing but it's not because they still listen to really bad ****.

samariah 05-13-2008 04:43 PM

most people listen to bad **** at least the ones i know :(

pppoe 05-13-2008 04:50 PM

I wish we could sit these people down and force them to listen to good music until they learn to like it and kill the ones who refuse to be changed.

samariah 05-13-2008 04:54 PM

i used to argue with my fourteen year old sister about her listening to diarrhea than i realized that when i was fourteen i listened to nsync so i dont do it anymore.

Liebensaft 05-13-2008 04:56 PM

I know a friend who browses Pitchfork. He showed it to me before I ever heard about it on here or understood the fact that it is so stigmatized. I just thought it was cool that there was a site that reviews music I had heard of.

okay 05-13-2008 06:35 PM

i mostly read blogs, occasionally TMT but their good reviews never deliver so i dont read it much.
