8mm is one of the most shocking films i've seen... before this film i saw a lot of horror movies and played brutal video games and thought i can deal with brutality. but its something different when you know its science-fiction and when its real - like 8mm. now i have to write a paper for university about the chechnya conflict in russia and when i read some books i get sick ... its horrible what's going on there. execution, abuse, rapes, ... and the whole world don't want to know it - looks away.

i was two times in my life in a concentration camp: 1) near linz (i forgot the name). its some 100km away from my hometown and 200km away from vienna. after the visit i couldn't eat for the half day. 2) auschwitz last summer.

We actually had a guy who was a Jewish Holocaust survivor come in and give us his story. It was so bad what happened to him.

Any decent human being would want to see the Nazis suffer after hearing a story of a holocaust survivor. I would love to see every Nazi right now go through a week in the life of a Jew during the holocaust, and see how many of them are Nazis afterwards.

I'm against racists and nazis, this has nothing to do with religion at all. Fighting over religion is 99% of the reason why this world is the way it is.

thats true and this will not change in the near future ... you have to look only at the iraq and whats going on in the world since 9/11.

That's basically it. My parents are hardcore Catholics and they tried so hard to force it on me that it drove me away. They're now convinced that my life is meaningless and they're failures as parents.

That's not because of religion. You could make arguements that it's because of money, oil, imperialism whatever but I don't think it's about religion. It's a whole different arguement.

yes, i agree with you; iraq is the small picture but when you look at the big picture it has to do with the western world (secularised/catholic) and the islamic world - and some hardcore islamics fights the jihad against the westen world. Sure Bush didn't attaked iraq cause of religion and mass destruction weapons - he wanted the oil. but since 9/11 and since afghanistan and iraq the western world and the islamic world diverged a lot.

Racism's inherent flaw is that it is wholly and totally illogical. Not trying to boast for myself or anything, but even though Dylan and Necro are both self-proclaimed Nazis now, I don't treat them any differently because of it. I'm rather annoyed that they would go and spam MX and be as rude and insulting as they were, but Dylan's been antagonizing this board with stuff like that for a while now. Racism works both ways, as I was saying to Julian last night.

And I agree, just as racists supposedly 'just want to stick together', we should as well. A conglomerate of all races standing united against racism would surely be force enough to oppose it.

ok i'm sorry; we had this discussions once before, together with the abortion and death penalty discussion, i won't start again - and i won't say i don't believe in god, nor i believe... i don't know what to believe. my view on religion and what is after death are very complicated and i don't even understand my own views.

I dont really like synergy i heard one song by them and she doesnt sound like what i thought she would to be honest,but i still just dont like it,the music itself is nice tho
