Great tunes, they're awesomely catchy. I love the vocals. gg man.

Bukowski 09-26-2006 10:04 AM

Magnetic Fields (loving them a lot just now)
Talk Talk - Laughing Stock

JonM 09-26-2006 11:39 AM

I'm diggin all the Dead Prez records, but they're not diggin me very much. I wonder why this phenomenon of white people getting way into explicitly anti-white music occurs? I'm totally feelin all these songs, and half of them are about killing white people.
Magnetic Fields (loving them a lot just now)
dude you better have 69 love songs.

Chemical Brothers - Dig Your Own Hole

I didn't realize how good "Where Do I Begin" is until today

Little Man being Erased 09-26-2006 03:24 PM

Tom Petty - Damn the Torpedoes

Animal Collective - Sung Tongs

I had an idea in my head of what Animal Collective would sound like, and I was a long way off. I don't know if I like it though. It seemed a bit fruity.

Zebra 09-26-2006 06:44 PM

Sonic Youth - Sister

This is much better then Daydream Nation.

pixiesfanyo 09-26-2006 07:00 PM

Six Organs of Admittance

The Jungler 09-26-2006 07:03 PM

UNKLE - Never, Never, Land and Psyence Fiction

I can't tell which one I like better, but they're both fantastic.

Against Me! - The Disco Before The Breakdown

Zappa 09-26-2006 11:00 PM

I think there's some deal with my internet access here that recognizes peer-to-peer transferring, and slows them. I started this download (of the blanky of sound) at about 60k/s, and now it's down to about 2k/s.

Little Man being Erased 09-26-2006 11:15 PM

That's messed up, man. My connection at home just goes at 2k/s all the time.

Tangy zizzle 09-26-2006 11:16 PM

Otis Rush - An Introduction to Otis Rush

pixiesfanyo 09-26-2006 11:16 PM

Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West

This album is so good.

Tangy zizzle 09-26-2006 11:23 PM

Oh and The Drones - The Millers Daughters

I'd go so far as saying they're my all time favourite. With stuff like I Believe (holy crap, what a song, jesus), Someone on Your Bond, Mean Streak, Slammin on The Breaks and Bird In A Church all on one disc...and another 3 albums all full of pure gold. Shit man.

Little Man being Erased 09-26-2006 11:30 PM

Big call man. I might pick up their new one when I hit the big smoke in a bit over a week.

Tangy zizzle 09-26-2006 11:33 PM

Well no other band since Queens' has impacted me this much.

Zmev 09-27-2006 04:19 AM

Finch - Say Hello to Sunshine

This is pretty good

br3ad_man 09-27-2006 07:45 AM

I could go see the dude from The Drones play an acoustic set at Rockinghorse on Friday. I'd really like to, but I'm not sure if I can really afford to drop $10 on a train ticket. Hmmm.

Sepstrup 09-27-2006 08:50 AM

So djangos.com finally sent me DJ Shadow's Entroducing... after a month of waiting. It's an awesome album.

Happymeal 09-27-2006 10:02 AM

King Geedorah - Take Me to Your Leader

I need more stuff like this.

pixiesfanyo 09-27-2006 11:01 AM

Still Life - From Angry Heads with Skyward Eyes

Sepstrup 09-27-2006 12:10 PM

David Bowie is making a comeback in my cd player.

The Jungler 09-27-2006 01:46 PM
Midlake - The Trials of Van Occupanther

I still don't know how exactly to describe this, but get it. It's like a dusty, catchy, lo-fi blanket of sound.
That CD is really great. The sound is really cool, but definetly a step down from the first record.

The Great Decay 09-27-2006 02:45 PM

Tom Waits - Swordfishtrombones
Slint - Spiderland
TV On The Radio - Young Liars
