I watched a friend play Doom 3 once. I almost cried.

I didn't sleep without the closet light on for a month after a night of attempting to play Silent Hill with a friend of mine. It was horrible.

Nah, the original silent hill is scary, at least it was to me. The newer ones are just boring.

And i avent played doom 3 yet, but i hear its overrated.

I didn't liek Doom 3 much at all... graphics wise its ahead of our time yet gameplay wise its like 6 years behind...

And anoter thing i heard about doom 3 was taht its very linear and takes no thought.

I don't really like much new hardcore and limewire might not have alot of old stuff, try for some DOA for a good start to early hardcore. I can tell you more later.

I can't download soulseek on this computer, and the one I am going to put it on can't get wireless internet. The stupid adapter won't pick up the access point. but thanks for the recommendations.
