I had to make a powerpoint at work today.

Powerpoint can suck my nuts.

samariah 05-12-2008 01:04 PM

oh i wish it would get sunny/warm out already

Tyr 05-12-2008 01:08 PM

We had awesome weather this weekend. Too bad I had to work all the time. And of course it was rather cold today. Again.

samariah 05-12-2008 01:11 PM

yeah its freezing today

i long for 86 degrees with a slight breeze and me with my bare knees under some green trees please

dei 05-12-2008 01:12 PM

The weather is nice today. Cool and grey with some light drizzle.

Tyr 05-12-2008 01:13 PM

86 is like 30 degrees Celsius, isn't it?

I'm happy as long as it's over 20 degrees Celsius during the summer.

samariah 05-12-2008 01:14 PM

i wish i had an empty room and some drums

dei 05-12-2008 01:15 PM

I'd kill to have 20C summer days here in California. It gets way too ****ing hot.

Tyr 05-12-2008 01:15 PM

I wish I could play guitar.

samariah 05-12-2008 01:29 PM

me too

Tyr 05-12-2008 01:41 PM

I'm trying to learn, but so far F is a killer.

Liebensaft 05-12-2008 08:00 PM

F is tough. Luckily it's really easy to sound like you play guitar if you just play C, G, and D over and over with different strumming patterns and progressions.

dei 05-12-2008 08:02 PM

I hate all F and B chords. My fingers do not like the second fret.

Eliminator 05-12-2008 08:02 PM

how is playing an f hard

charlesfishowitz 05-12-2008 08:11 PM
how is playing an f hard
when you're first starting out, trying to press your finger down on more than one string at a time hurts like ****...but after that everything gets easier and easier...until you come across sweep picking.

Jacaranda 05-12-2008 08:26 PM

or just play bass

dei 05-12-2008 08:27 PM

Sweep picking is pretty lame.

Liebensaft 05-12-2008 08:50 PM

Yeah it's way easier to root note on bass and sound like you're doing a good job than it is to play guitar and have it sound like it's being done properly.

Bass is equally complex when you get beyond the most basic of technique though.

YDload 05-12-2008 09:24 PM

this is alt/indie, all of our favorite bassists cant actually play bass (especially if they're girls)

dei 05-12-2008 09:32 PM

24,444.

ur dumb

br3ad_man 05-13-2008 05:59 AM

I think this is the first time I've ever had more than a grand in my bank account. It's almost too bad I'm about to spend nearly all of it on a new amp.

okay 05-13-2008 07:15 AM

i dont even have an amp

Liebensaft 05-13-2008 03:01 PM

My bank account had 6 dollars in it until I deposited a check earlier. I've got like $156 now.

Radiohead was really good on Sunday but Nissan Pavilion is the worst fucking venue in the world. Their traffic patterns are retarded so we missed Liars and the first 4 Radiohead songs and then missed the encore, and then we were stuck in the parking lot from 10 to 1am. Plus it was raining like crazy. I looked on the event page on last.fm and apparently a lot of people didn't even make it there.

pppoe 05-13-2008 03:12 PM

That's what happens when you go see Radiohead.

Liebensaft 05-13-2008 03:47 PM

How did you miss the encore as a result of arriving late?

YDload 05-13-2008 03:52 PM

they were probably leaving early to try and beat the traffic YOU IDIOT
