Chu 04-02-2005 06:31 PM

That actually made me laugh irl :)
Thanks.

But yeah, St. Anger doesn't have any solos, but I think some of the albums previous to St. Anger could have been decent had there been no solos.. :p

Maybe they should have caught onto this trend along time ago!!!

.. If you can pick up what I'm saying hear, please don't say it aloud :p

flamesofbodom 04-02-2005 06:58 PM

thats why i put all my cd's on my computer so in case i lose them or they get stolen i can just burn another one. But nothing is cooler than the artwork on a cd except for the cd itself
Bull****. As much as I like Metallica, you're not going to tell me that Four Horsemen is better than, say, I dunno...Paschendale? Montsegur? Angel of Death? Dead Skin Mask? Hallowed Be Thy Name? Run to the Hills? The Trooper? Phantom of the Opera? Blood Brothers?

/me sighs

I could go on forever, so I'll stop now.. Hell, For Whom the Bell Tolls is a better story incorporation into a metal song.
pardon my humble opinion, but I have heard none of those songs (ever), so don't be so quick to assume that I'm some fanboy denying other songs their greatness. But FWTBT isn't really Metallica's own story, nor is it horror. Its just another rant about governments/war (with respect)

lilmetallica 04-02-2005 07:22 PM

i never did figure out what its about how many more albums do0 you think metallica will do?

metal_milita 04-02-2005 07:27 PM
i never did figure out what its about
Figure what? about what? dang man, you really gotta start making sense to people other than yourself

lilmetallica 04-02-2005 07:34 PM

i dont even make sence to me sometimes

Isn't bells based on a Spanish poem of the same name. I saw it on a documentry but they didn't refer to Metallica.

And most of them songs are by Iron Maiden i.e Paschendale, Run to the hills, Blood Brothers etc

Nope, based on a book.

flamesofbodom 04-02-2005 08:43 PM

Call of Ktulu is based on a book; Call of the Ktuhlu by HP Lovecraft(horror story guy)

Actually parts of the lyrics on the thing that should not be are based on that book.
