And further, you're fine I hope?
not enough room to keep it with me, my dear dutchman ;) and yeah I'm fine, band practice today and we kinda decided we'll throw out the drummer and the singer, but we haven't really told them yet, so that'll be fun  we already have a new drummer, still looking for a new singer |
Fender VI?
thanks, i have major gas for one. |
Break up, and reform again without them.
Worked for me. :) |

Singers are hard to find! Espessially the male ones.. It seems that every girl sings, like every dude plays guitar :D
thats funny that you guys knew him all along lowsound
I know, it was fairly annoying finding that out. Our guitarist basically heard him singing to himself on the bus, and was like :o And then he joined and we were all like :o |
make them sing then
lowsound
no really no coz they iz SuxXor singaz I think we'll find one soon, in Belgium drummers are harder to find so I'm glad we already found one when the first one isn't officially out yet. |
meh, i find singers easy to come by. but drummers and guitarists hard to find
lowsound
That's strange, here it is the other way around. We've got problems to find singers, like I said. And I think that singing is more like a 'talent' rather than practise, isn't it? |
I didn't like the 8-Jazz either.. I imagained a "real" one with eight bass strings :naughty:
|
its ugly, IMO. the headstock just doesn't fit with the jazz body
lowsound
id still use it though. |

I'm the worst, but even I can sing a little. My scales are pitch perfect. I just have problems with actual words  |
id still use it though.
ill stick to my good ol four thank you very much lowsound |
deffently, if you are even remotly tone deaf you will have a very hard time singing
lowsound
OK, you can practise it! But to sing more then background vocals.. |
I think every member of my band can sing to an ok standard.
OK, you can practise it! But to sing more then background vocals..
my dad is 100% tone deaf, and f he praticed for 8 hours a day he still couldn't sing. lowsound |
same here, i can scream tho. so i am in high demand, i just dont like any of the bands/people that want me to scream
lowsound
I still need to find out how to scream, I can scream loud and dirty (in 'normal life'). I have problems with singing and playing at the same time :upset: |

lowsound
I tried screaming today. My guitarist was quite impressed. Although we play heavy music, we do it with more operatic vocals, a bit like Killswitch Engage. The screaming is too a minimum used only for impact. We do lots of harmonies. One chorus has a 3 part harmony. |

its really hard to explain. tho i do have a very low scream, in the baritone range. i can scream higher, but i have to train my voice so it doesn't hurt when i do it. lowsound |

lowsound
I don't need it afterall :p It still sound cool sometimes! For example: in one yellowcard song the bassist screams and that really makes the song 'kick in' then) But singing and playing together is a bitch :upset: |
me too
the only song I can play/sing is Too Many Puppies.
i can sing and play guitar kinda good, but when it comes ot playing bass and singing i can't do it. lowsound |

But singing and playing together is a bitch :upset:
I find it much easier on guitar for some reason. I can play and sing Hotel Yorba by the White Stripes. |
thats sweet, listen to old killswitch before they got their new singer. way more screaming
lowsound
I've got the newest album and Alive Or Just Breating, is the album before that worth a listen? |

Yeah! I can also play guitar and sing (for as far as it goes, background vocals are ok). But with bass, it is way more difficult for me for some reason..
I'm starting a punkband (just for fun and the shows) with me on guitar and then I'll try to sing some more. |
I've got the newest album and Alive Or Just Breating, is the album before that worth a listen?
ya, its the only one with the old singer/screamer. its way heavyer and i think that it was recorded while they were still at berklee lowsound |
I can't speak or sing and play bass at the same time.
It's something to do with rhythm maybe? |
