whiteminority 07-01-2005 10:30 AM

Well I put in their name in my download program and it says nothing found.

RetiredAt21 07-01-2005 10:31 AM

That's the only song I ever found on Limewire.

whiteminority 07-01-2005 10:34 AM

I have Limewire as well. But I can't find anything by them.
Also can't find anything by Heroin.

RetiredAt21 07-01-2005 10:35 AM

I've never even heard of Heroin.

Electric Ocean 07-01-2005 10:36 AM

Have you tried soulseek, it's normally the best for harder to find music.

RetiredAt21 07-01-2005 10:37 AM

I'm too lazy to get Soulseek.

Electric Ocean 07-01-2005 10:46 AM

It's really easy to get, the download is only about 1mb and it takes a minute to install and set up.

Wow 07-01-2005 10:46 AM

I have 31 Usurp Synapse songs. AIM/MSN me for them.

RetiredAt21 07-01-2005 10:46 AM

Hmm, maybe I will get it. I'll check it out.
At the end of the year we should have a Top Albums of the Year poll. We shall see who the victor is.......
We always do that anyway.

deadohiosky9 07-01-2005 07:49 PM

In Tongues are awesome.

Wow 07-01-2005 09:18 PM

Damn right they are, Curry.

cbmartinez 07-01-2005 11:22 PM

The Mars Volta are not post-hardcore.

RetiredAt21 07-01-2005 11:40 PM

Yeah, there is nothing core about the Mars Volta.

Wow 07-01-2005 11:43 PM

Damn right they aren't, Chris.

RetiredAt21 07-01-2005 11:44 PM

Who called them post-core in the first place?

Wow 07-01-2005 11:46 PM
They aren't melodic. They're expiremental, or as I like to say Xperimental. They're really a super expiremental Post-Hardcore band
This man right here.

RetiredAt21 07-01-2005 11:48 PM

Sunnyday, what do you have to say for yourself?

cbmartinez 07-01-2005 11:54 PM

He's been disillusioned by Underoath's myspace listing them as post-hardcore.

asian al 07-02-2005 01:08 AM

Please check out my band if you get the chance.

We recorded 3 new songs at watchmen studios.

For fans of dual guitars/hardcore/metal core/melodic hc

Feel free to add if you like.

thanks

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 07-02-2005 10:22 AM

What Dfelon said.....

RetiredAt21 07-02-2005 10:42 AM

Ok, that's one song, big deal. That still doesn't make them post hardcore.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 07-02-2005 11:10 AM
He's been disillusioned by Underoath's myspace listing them as post-hardcore.
Talking about Underoath, I saw them yesterday and even though I don't like the new songs, they earned some respect from me because the put on a hell of a show I must admitt

RetiredAt21 07-02-2005 11:16 AM

That's what everyone says. Their live show is supposedly amazing, I have to see it for myself though.

FungusAmngus870 07-02-2005 11:17 AM
Never have I seen a post more wrong then that.
I second that statement.

RetiredAt21 07-02-2005 11:19 AM

Which post was wrong?

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 07-02-2005 11:28 AM

I'm getting a haircut in about an hour or so.

RetiredAt21 07-02-2005 11:43 AM

Post hardcore drumming? That still doesn't make them post hardcore. They aren't a post hardcore band.

RetiredAt21 07-02-2005 12:03 PM

It doesn't sound very core to me. They are a pretty mellow band most of the time.

RCVA 07-02-2005 12:27 PM

Mars Volta are prog-rock...right?

RetiredAt21 07-02-2005 12:36 PM

I think they are indie, but someone will probably tell me I'm wrong.

Wow 07-02-2005 01:20 PM
I never called them a post-hardcore band. That was that retarded n00b. I am merely responding to your comment that there is no "core" in their music. Or maybe that was Wow. Same thing. There is core in their music. A small amount but significant in modeling their sound. It gives them that edge and intensity that most "psychedelic" bands are too stoned out to have.
Nah, I never said there was no core. I've only listened to them once, I wouldn't know.

captainhaddock 07-02-2005 01:32 PM

i wouldn't call them a post-hardcore band
something along the lines of experimental ambient indie...
