Finally got their new album. Decent stuff, not too different from most deathcore though.

i listened to a few songs off of consumed by your poison, and well, its pretty obvious that its a chick actually, she does a lot of the stuff light this city's chick does, but like, a lot sloppier, and she tries to do lows that she can't pull off a lot

she shows a lot of potential in that song, she hits some really high notes, but they kinda lack support, but the lows are elite

i agree some of the highs sound a bit too airy for my taste, but i was definitly suprised at the power of her lows, good song thanks for the reccomendation mappy :chug:

Over the past three weeks I have become very, very sick of this genre, tbh. So much that I don't even want to play it anymore in one of my bands.

If anyone can point me to a different kind of deathcore band that doesn't bore the hell out of me now, I'd greatly appreciate it.

never said it was. The bottom line is I've heard a bunch of female fronted bands, and haven't found any of them enjoyable. Vocals is the most important aspect imo, and if they suck, there's a 95% chance I can't get into the band. Exceptions are Theory in Practice and Decrepit Birth.
