There's some live streetlight videos on YouTube.

DaveToopes 03-10-2006 10:41 PM

There is live videos of every band ever on YouTube.

Skidmark Steve 03-10-2006 11:15 PM

YouTube rules hard!

Not true. I'm having an easy time stumping it. Still, there's a lot of videos on there, and it's awesome.

DaveToopes 03-11-2006 10:57 AM

Don't you get smart with me...

JK! I was just saying that there are a lot of videos.

nonsense! 03-11-2006 11:08 AM

Oh my god, none of you have seen Streetlight live? I saw them with the Tossers in Atlanta and they were AMAZING.

The thought of being no less than 10 feet away from Tomas Kalnoky gives me shivers.

You have to go next time they come within 3 states of you.

AIRIC 03-11-2006 11:10 AM

I've seen them twice!! :hi5:

Led-ZeppelinIV 03-11-2006 11:42 AM

Has anyone here ever seen BOTAR live?

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 03-11-2006 11:49 AM
YouTube rules hard!
video.google is better because you can download the videos.

ibanezman575 03-11-2006 12:36 PM

I've seen streetlight live. It was amazing. The only bad thing was (embarrassingly enough) I didn't really know them at the time. Other than that, it was an absolutely great show. It was at a small venue, and everyone was so into it.

do they even play out? I never heard any info on them playing shows somewhere.

When I saw Streetlight, they played They Provide the Paint... with some instrument changes beforehand, promoting the BOTAR album.

I'm not sure they have ever toured as a whole band, just SM "covering" their songs.

DaveToopes 03-11-2006 08:07 PM

I don't think they have ever played any shows.

Kithkin 03-11-2006 09:46 PM

Yeah, it was just recorded in a basement over about 2 years.
Streetlight would put on a much cooler show than Pennywise, I'd imagine.
But not h20, who are one of the best live bands around.

Streetlight is great live, but they benifit from great source material. H20's stuff is a good but generic hardcore, and popularity comes directly from their live show.

ibanezman575 03-12-2006 12:58 PM

yes h20 were great
guilty by association is an awesome song
video.google is better because you can download the videos.
YouTube has a better selection, but Google is way quicker.

How do you download them?

Also, does anyone know how to put videos on an IPOD?

Henrik 03-12-2006 04:45 PM

You need a programme that can convert the videos to mp4.

Skidmark Steve 03-12-2006 04:46 PM

Yea nevermind I got it.

I just downloaded a live DK video.

20 July 2004, Nick's Fat City, opening acts: Suckerpunch Thompsons, Radiobomb, The Lemmiwinks, the Know How

16 June 2005, Mr. Small's Theatre, opening acts: Feeding Zeus, Hope on a Rope, Gym Class Heros, Whole Wheat Bread

I went to the 2004 show to see the Lemmiwinks. I had a Lemmiwinks shirt and a Streetlight cd and patch when I went home.

sketchyjoe 03-13-2006 01:32 AM

Lemmiwinks! Lemmiwinks!

AIRIC 03-13-2006 10:25 AM

I'm bored of live ska.

On the right side of the video where the download button is, there's a drop down menu and one of the choices of a download is the mp4 iPod format.
I'm bored of live ska.
Have you ever tried live ska.....ON WEED!?!

jk, just made me think of Half-Baked.

AIRIC 03-13-2006 05:08 PM

Haha yeah it was slightly more fun, of course it was during a Catch 22 set so it wasn't very fun.

Brian Manifesto 03-13-2006 07:01 PM

Sorry if this was already posted, but if you go to the aquabats news section it has tour dates posted with Streetlight for June but only for the westcoast and mid-west!

But, rumors say the east coast will be getting Whole Wheat bread instead. :(

AIRIC 03-13-2006 07:12 PM

DUDE!!

Whole Wheat Bread and Streetlight was one of the best shows I ever went to. I would kill for another Streetlight/WWB show.

IgniteYourAvail 03-13-2006 09:27 PM

I heard Whole Wheat Bread on the satellite radio once. They were really fun.

DaveToopes 03-13-2006 09:37 PM

Their song about the old guy, I can't remember the name is awesome.

Jessizzle 03-13-2006 09:38 PM

im seeing them with the aquabats!!
