i heard it was Lost in Hollywood but that was before hypnotize came out so i doubt its that anymore. I doubt that Kill rock n roll would be a single cuz itd be like bleeped out for like all the verses and stuff. thatd be annoying. unless they allow @ss..

S/T:P.L.U.C.K.,suite-pee,peephole
It going to be either Lost in Hollywood Or Lonely Day I forget which one it is now.
One has been confirmed..

Im thinking its Lonley Day but Im not 100% on that
So whichever one it is, it has 95% of daron's vocals? :(

I would go for Kill rock N roll if I was soad, but oh well.

Kyle 12-15-2005 12:33 PM

Anyone read that interview with Daron where talked about having enough material to release 10 solo albums?

PepsiMetal 12-15-2005 02:11 PM

I didn't read it, but it's probably true. In concerts, he adds little solos, and weird stuff in almost every song. I have their performance for the download festival 05 and they completely changed war? They added something in the middle, daron used the electronic voice thingy, and added little palm muted solos or whatever those were.

Kyle 12-15-2005 02:33 PM

yeah I remember that performance of War, it was well good.

^links to ultimate guitar never work for me, this one doesn't either. Just go into the main site and look for news items from about 4-5 days ago.

PepsiMetal 12-15-2005 02:40 PM

If I were nominated for a Grammy, would I go? Probably not. I don't wanna be a part of that scene. I don't like to walk on red carpets!

lol

Kyle 12-15-2005 03:35 PM

, but yet he still found himself at the European Music Awards!!

hmmm suspicious?! He'd go to the Grammys and he knows it.

Mambuto_O'Mally 12-15-2005 04:01 PM

On the DVD thing, Serj is singing and playing a keyboard, while John seems to be recording the drums. Does anybody know what song that is. If you need to watch it, its on google video.

PepsiMetal 12-15-2005 04:28 PM

What dvd are you talking about?

Mambuto_O'Mally 12-15-2005 10:46 PM

THe bonus with Hypnotize

Skit 12-16-2005 02:26 AM

Charades.
It was originally on the Axis Of Justice CD/DVD as Serj on keyboard/vocals only.

Now it looks like there recording it as a full band song which could be sweet!

Mambuto_O'Mally 12-16-2005 03:26 PM

Cool. It sounded really good. Does anybody know if there is a leak of the song Heeze. I'd really, really, really like to hear it. (It's an instrumental that was supposed to be on Hypnotize)

Skit 12-17-2005 06:08 AM

Its gonna be released sometime in the future.

Possibly as a single B-side?

+zero+ 12-18-2005 02:24 PM

thatd be sweet if they released a b-sides/rarities cd.

PepsiMetal 12-18-2005 02:25 PM

Could't they have just put that song on hypnotize too? I mean they only used like 45 minutes or so.

Skit 12-19-2005 04:01 AM

It was originally gonna open the album, but they wanted something more heavy (Attack) so they ended up dropping it from the album all together.

Zero, I wouldnt want a b-sides/rarities cd, It'd just be STA all over again...

The Phone Phiend 12-19-2005 08:05 AM

The new album is no way as good as hypnotize and although its gr8 and shavo is amazin and darron should sing less in the new album. i saw them live in glasgow in july and they were great i have one of shavos bass piks on my wall and my m8 caught one on the drum sticks

Skit 12-19-2005 10:58 AM

Errr...the new album is Hypnotize :amaze:

oh yea forgot about that:rolleyes: .. haha very true

Mambuto_O'Mally 12-20-2005 03:37 PM

What wrong with STA. I look at it this way, As an album as a whole, It's nothing special. If you look at the songs on it, STA isn't that bad. Innervision, Bubbles, Nuguns, Mr. Jack, Highway Song, Ego Brain (just to name a few) are all off of that one.

PepsiMetal 12-20-2005 04:44 PM

I love STA I dont get why people hate it. I mean Mr. Jack, there's IEAIAIO, so it fucks the system, along streamline. Very good cd. :p

xxGumbyxx 12-20-2005 05:02 PM

I'm I the only one who likes the unreleased demo version of the songs from STA better than the actual album?

TheSubtleArts 12-20-2005 07:20 PM
I'm I the only one who likes the unreleased demo version of the songs from STA better than the actual album?
no, i like some better also.

I thought the unreleased version of Innervision was better than the studio, touch-up version. Plus STA didn't have Johnny, or my personal unreleased favorite song, Dam.

I wonder if they're ever going to record that little jam they used to do in concerts before playing Sugar... that would seem like a cool little song to build off of.

I didn't like Dam when i got it. I thought it was utter crap but the rest of their unreleased songs all sound good.

Skit 12-21-2005 05:27 AM

Well the reason Dam and Johnny arnt on STA is because they are from the ST sessions.

I like STA, they reason I said that is because, the vast majority of fans had already heard the album before toxicity came out.
To me the album just seemed like a half assed attempt to make and album and thusly more money.

The album isnt bad they're some great songs on it, but you've got to remember, at the end of the day STA is just the songs that where not good enough for toxicity.

Kyle 12-21-2005 05:32 AM

Although as an album I would agree Toxicity sounds more complete STA is the album which got me listening to SOAD.

mutant! 12-21-2005 03:29 PM
I'm I the only one who likes the unreleased demo version of the songs from STA better than the actual album?
I didn't. In fact, I liked the unreleased I-E-A-I-A-I-O immensely - one of my favourite System tracks of the time - until I heard the STA version and got goosebumps (I'm not exaggerating) when the choir backing joined Serj for the chorus.

Britton 12-21-2005 03:30 PM

Can someone explain to me what Radio Video is about and what inspired it?
