Yeah, I could be persuaded to say that,
It's not my favourite Megadeth album in terms of rockin' tunes, I'd probbably say that R.I.P or Peace Sells..was.
It is, all a matter of opinion though

I bought Youthanasia.
Dunno if it's a good album, haven't listenned to it all, yet.

its ok, its the first megadeth album i heard all the way through - i dont actually own it, i borrowed it. its not "thrashy" as RIP, IMO best song on it is victory or addicted to chaos

Well, I've heard the first 3 songs, and I like them all.
The first song has a really nice riff in my opinion, a bit repetative but it's cool all the same, and does some funky changes.

The second song is pretty mad, I can definately say I like it already.

Victory is easily the best song on Youthanasia, followed by A Tout Le Monde.

Victory is awesome, basically an outline of their career. A Tout Le Monde is their Fade to Black, about Dave overdosing on Valium. Addicted is about, IIRC, a person who you loved who guided you through everything leaving. Youth is about corruption in the government, and I can't remember what Train is about.

Nope, I've downloaded it though. 99 Ways to Die is one of Deth's greatest songs.

i personally think that peace sells is their best work. every song is great in my opinion, with i ain't superstious being the only weak point. plus it has wake up dead and bad omen, which to me, are megadeth's two best "show off" songs.

Heh, yeah, despite being a kickass song, Wake Up Dead cannot disguse itself from being obvious guitar wank :)

Peace Sells is a great album. My favorite song on there is The Conjuring. I really like the tapping intro.

I like all of those too, but I am not much on Youthanasia. For some reason, I just don't like it much. A few of the songs are good though.

Well, I only just got it, so it's still fresh.
But yeah, I like the whole album, so far!

you should really pick up Killing is my business...and business is good! that album is ferocoius. you can really tell, with it being the first album and with the recent departure of mustaine from metallica, that he was really trying to out do metallica. check out rattlehead. the chirs poland solo ****ing rules. and last rites/loved to death is quite possibly the heaviest song of all time.
