Yes, Rob is still with them

markface 07-31-2005 07:58 AM

Fade To Black and Nothing Else Matters are great songs to learn if you're a beginner guitar player.

Schecterguitarist 07-31-2005 09:23 AM

acually I hav to say that james' voice sounds so much better live then on cd. Go listen to Hero of the Day on the S&M cd/DVD it really shows how hes become a better singer. And a lot of u are sayin that his voice changed once the black album came and thats tru becuz in SKOM he says that he blew his voice out doing So What the bonus/cover song so he hired a voice trainer. He was scared that his voice would become opretic but alls it did was make him a better singer

Schecterguitarist 07-31-2005 09:24 AM

also wut is cunning stunts is it a bunch of live stuff like binge and purge and cliff em all?

How big is the file??

Jev 07-31-2005 12:10 PM

I don't know i can't find the video, all i find is logo animations and the audio file is empty too.
The DVD itself is spread across 2 DVDs. I've tried both discs and neither work.

Britton 07-31-2005 02:05 PM

You can try to save on your media player then open it's containing folder
then save it to your desktop and then go to yousend it.com or what that
sight....that's the only way I can think to do it!

I loved Cliff em all especialy all the rtl and kea stuff

the stuff from the clubs was awsome thanks paul

FlyingPaul_83 07-31-2005 07:03 PM

It's cool seeing a performance with dave still in the band, when they play motorbreath.\

No remorse has got to be my favorite part of cliff em all, or maybe creeping death.

Dr. Killgreedy 07-31-2005 07:33 PM

i prefer creeping death on cliff 'em all.

PepsiMetal 08-01-2005 11:42 AM

Where do you get this stuff man?

Britton 08-01-2005 02:51 PM

Is it actually Megadeath?

Not suprising considering it's a 722 MB file. What's your upload speed anyways? It would take me like 8+ hours to upload 700 MB file. And I have 384 kbps. I wish my upload was 3 Mbit same as my download. That would be nice.

I dunno my internet connection is very fast, maybe i can cut out the other performances and just upload the 'Tallica one.

FlyingPaul_83 08-01-2005 04:32 PM

I'm not sure. I just downloaded it. Did they write ride the lightning when dave was still in the band?

nope

RustedPieces 08-01-2005 05:12 PM

It's not Megadeth. Metallica or Megadeth have never done a cover of eachothers songs. Ever.

It sounds like someone took the original Metallica version of Ride The Lightning and turned the pitch up a little in audacity.

Impossable: Unless it was a live version, it definatly does not follow the lyric line. Just listen to the song, James does some high stuff where in this on the voice is dropped, not with a computer, but this is NOT the origional version. It could be either a live version done that way, an old bootlegged studio cut, or it could be Dave and Megadeath doing a cover for S's and G's, not planning on releasing it into public.

RustedPieces 08-01-2005 05:37 PM

But it doesn't sound anything like Dave to me.

FlyingPaul_83 08-01-2005 05:59 PM

I think it sounds a little like dave, but I'm not sure if it is.

Huber 08-01-2005 06:02 PM

I doubt that it's Dave. It would be highly unlikely, and it doesn't sound to much like him.

Partly, on some songs he wrote, but others no.
Call of The Ktulu, Ride and Fight Fire With Fire, he was on, and he wrote much of it.

(hetfield, ulrich burton), there's no mustaine in it, but i could be wrong.

Endless Obsession 08-01-2005 07:25 PM

Are you guys joking that sounds nothing like Mustaine. Thats obviously Hetfield. Probobly played it like late 83 early 84 before Ride the Lightning came out cause it sounds like Kill Em All vocals.

hethamulburton 08-01-2005 07:39 PM
(hetfield, ulrich burton), there's no mustaine in it, but i could be wrong.
You're right I meant something else, or maybe not, I knew Ride and C of K.
Wasn't sure.

metalthrasher0978 08-01-2005 07:48 PM

its defiently not mustaine he left metallica and went to megadeth before ride the lightning

Huber 08-01-2005 07:50 PM

Welcome to the boards...

We know about Mustaine. It's possible it could be Megadeth covering a Metallica song (like 1 in a million chance) or material from before Kill Em' All.

it's possible, but megadeth would played that song faster, just check the mechanix and the four horsemen speed diferencies.
