Understanding In a Crash 07-27-2005 03:07 PM

The scene has been beer for girls as of late. They have been trying to acquire new tastes forcingly to things. Like alot of girls who listened to Taking Back Sunday and MCR are beginning to jump to Underoath and Norma Jean which is kind of sad. I guess wherever those hot pop-punk boys go they gotta go too.

Have you ever thought that the girls who listened to Taking Back Sunday and MCR before are now aquiring a broader taste in music? That they are evolving as they get older?

As it would be a coincidence that "cute" pop-punk boys are allowed to aquire certain scene bands that are borderlining genres.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-27-2005 03:13 PM

Dan, your so annoying with all your scene talk and that.

Maybe it's the boys that are following the girls. Ever think about that?

I feel so violated. I was gone and you guys talked about me.

I love you Rissa. :)

And Danny, are you calling me chubby?!?!

What ?

I don't get you sometimes.

Nop because a fellow male shovinist told me that throughout history females needed to change towards what males done because if they did not they would hold no power to pave their own paths without compromise.

Plus most girls listened to Hanson before Taking Back Sunday so...
A Broken Social Scene
No, you do not get scene points for just happening to say a band name.

Oh and all boys have been listening to stuff like Norma Jean since birth?

"Oh, look, you dropped something. What's that, oh, it's a name! Here, TAKE IT BACK, WHORE." - Random Hot Topic Manager

Funniest thing I have ever seen.

Just because he knew my weight, doesn't mean it would make me chubby...

Understanding In a Crash 07-27-2005 03:19 PM

%60 of the pop-punk bands along the modern day and age "emotional lyrics" are based off of what girls have created as problems and incidents. If that isn't enough of a reason for girls "changing".

I don't know. You said something about "I don't know how all those chubby girls..."

And I was like. Grr.

Plus, it's the surefire way to make a male completely submissive.

"ARE YOU SAYING I'M FAT?"

I am slightly annoyed by Norma Jean. All of our "scene" kids are obsessed with them.

It's kind of annoying, because they try to make their bands sound like them as well. Pssht.

Girls mature in their musical taste.

Guys just get better at applying eyeliner.

Nah, I got a strict line of fem. appearance that I like :thumb:

Not stickline, not fatty, but alittle meaty with DOUBLE D!

Wait wait wait... So you are saying that what the lyricists wrote are the girls' fault so we're to blame for music evolution?

I'm all for the girl who knows the bands and loves their music. Girls who like Grind and Metal-core I can respect them as long as they aren't in it for fucking the kids. Otherwise they need to take a walk :upset:

Basically girls contradict themselves in listening to...

"I WANT TO KILL YOU GIRL, I WANT TO KILL YOU GIRL!"

But yeah, alot of things are girls fault.

It's even more sad when they show up at your front door with a bunch of black eyeliner and a very scratched up eye and say "CADY, HELP ME!"

My poor, poor scene boys... :upset:

NOT ALL GIRLS ARE IN IT FOR THE ****ING

In fact, there's probably a better chance of that being the reason why GUYS listen to the music. As opposed to the girls' reason for listening to it being that.
If they were wanting to do you, you wouldn't be complaining.
Arguement over. :amaze:

I want some scene boys! Share, kay?

(I am fully aware that I just proved Dan's point.)

Understanding In a Crash 07-27-2005 03:27 PM

Most Girls are in it for the boys.

In the high school terms you can either like Rap, or basically Pop-punk. A smaller other % goes to punk and R&M but I don't know many girls who like "real" punk and girls who like R&M usually know like 3 mainstream bands.

thisis sceneSUICIDE 07-27-2005 03:27 PM
Big boobs are gross.

I got my girlfriend into my music. \m/ While she still likes her own stuff as well. which is cool. She introduced me to the Roots.
I got the boy into alot of bands, like The Shins, Zolof the Rock N Roll Destroyer, Jack's Mannequin, The Smiths, The Honorary Title, etc.

Such a moldable child, really.

Now the entire varsity baseball team listens to Jack's Mannequin during practice. Weird.

Pssht.

I haven't seen a recent picture of Mark but all I can remember is whenever I think of him, I think of Matt Freeman for some reason.
