i know i was only fooling around, Crag obviously knew what sort of reaction it'd provoke with the hiding in the corner stuff, and anyway it's not like i was serious <_<.............
.......welll not completely anyway :) |
yeah i knew that was the case.
I was gonna say that anyway. It happens to me all the time :( |
Wow, I got a better response than I thoguht I would. :p Thanks for answering. I've been busy listening to as much Maiden as I can get my hands on so I can answer it myself.
NP: Dream of Mirrors |
Yeah, i've just heard so many different versions of it so many times and i know it virtually inside out that it just doesn't have that spark that it had when i first heard it. Don't get me wrong i still think it's a phenomonal song but it's just lost it's appeal for me:(
|
I know what you mean, maybe if you leave it for awhile it'll come back, although i have 9 different versions of it, I listened to it countless times, and still think it's greater then anything else i've heard.
|
I don't think that Maiden necesserily have any better songs than Hallowed, but there are a lot more Maiden songs I would rather listen to as I've listened to that one song a bazillion times.
|
When DoD first came out, i listened the shit out of Rainmaker and Paschendale... Still two of my favourite maiden songs :)
|
Paschendale is probably my favorite Maiden song me thinks.
I only have 2 albums though...and some random songs. |

Will do:thumb:
BOH is probably my favourite live album ATM
Maiden England is by far my favourite live album. |
Okay, just saw the video for TRoBB, first of all this video is the best one they have done in years. Second i like how maiden doesnt get caught using the same old patterns, they are taking a new direction with this song, which is good, i dont think i would want a Dod duplicate or even a BNW duplicate. thirdly the song itself is no rainmaker but still is kick as$. I like it, and i want to hear more :)
Will do:thumb: Maiden England is by far my favourite live album.
I saw that in the store the other day for 5 bucks, i think i may just wait for it to be released on the easrly days pt.2 dvd. |
I might not get to see Maiden when they come to Canada. I asked my dad if he'd mind us driving up to Montreal or Toronto for a Maiden concert. And he said that he went on a trip to Montreal with just a bunch of friends when they were all 15-16 (My age) and he remembers what they did, so there's no way he's going to let me go. And I've been trying to explain to him that I'm not going to go off and do anything, I just wanna' see Maiden. I mean, he already knows I don't and won't drink no matter what, whether I'm away with friends our whatever. |
That sucks.

Haha perhaps. He's cool though, he's just gone and done every possible stupid thing you could imagine, so now that he looks back he's worried I'll do the same stuff lol. I'm contemplating that if he says no after I keep asking him, that I may just go without permission. I'll take my cell phone and everything so they can call me if they want to, but at least I'll be far enough away that I'll be out of their control. And when I get back, I'll have gotten to see Maiden and I'll also get to see the inside of the my room alot more..:p |

Ah this just makes me realize how very thankful I am for only being a half hour train ride away from Toronto.. where abouts are you?

World Entertainment News Network reports that IRON MAIDEN singer and qualified pilot Bruce Dickinson airlifted 200 British citizens who had fled war torn Beirut, Lebanon back to the U.K. yesterday (July 20). The 47-year-old flew a Boeing 757 to Cyprus where he picked up the evacuees and flew them back to London's Gatwick Airport. A colleague says, "He was only too keen to get involved and help. "He has a strong interest in the welfare of people caught up in international conflicts and cares about what is going on."
haha. He's such a darling :P but really. That was pretty nice of him. |

But anyway, he's cool. |
Imagine some of the passengers were Maiden fans. They probably freaked out.

I went on the Airline he's with when I travelled to Corsica. He's in their flight book and everything, I was hoping he'd be flying us but when the guy talked it wasn't like "YOU TAKE MY LIFE AND I'LL TAKE YOURS TOO" or anything, so I was disappointed. Astraeus (sp?) Airlines or something we went with. |
