It meens The Eggs Of Tool.
|
I like it...........we can all agree on it.
:thumb: |
What's the story behind the name?
/casual Tool fan
It's a reference to a track on Aenima called "Die Eier Von Satan", which translates from German into "The Eggs of Satan", or possibly "The Balls of Satan". |
Meh, it'll do.. As long as you stop talking about the thread title again
|
....but it means "the eggs of satans tool"...
hahaha we are satans SPERM!!!! this thread name orgasmic  /triggers other naughty puns.
Actually, it doesn't. It means "The Eggs of Tool". Oh and buy Opeth's album ****ation. All tracks are soft acoustic/electric with clean vocals. Seeing as how you love Harvest, I think this is your next stop. |
It means the balls of tool

Same here........it got really irritating really fast.
I should have a new song up on C!ITBGOW?'s profile soon. I'm pretty sure you'll like it, hopefully :p And for those of you that want to hear my solo music thing, go here- http://www.myspace.com/citbgow It's music that I make for fun. But I'll also be doing serious songs also. The new one is called Mormons And Ramen (yes, all the names are stupid). And a warning, Kill The Goldfish sucks :thumb: |
I still can't hear them, can you AIM them to me?
|
I still can't hear them, can you AIM them to me?

me:heres the song
you:*listens* ...I gotta go
I didn't listen to it yet.......AIM kicked me off, I'm loading it into my MP3 player now, then I'm going to bed. |
I like the thread name. It works because it has Tool in the title, so new people can find it. It makes a reference to a Tool song, a less popular one too. It is pretentiously part in german, so all the Tool haters or Tool fan haters we'll think they're right. And when translated to english, it means "the eggs/balls of Tool", which shows that the title is actually very comical and all the Tool haters/Tool fan haters that think it's just Tool fans being stereotypical Tool fans, were completely fooled. Or atleast, that's how I look at it.
|
dammit :upset:
I love this song its awsome! :upset: argh! no vocals = pwnage thanks kage ill download your now.
If you like that, you should definately check out the song The Drapery Falls. |
There isn't ONE weak song on that album.
|
Troof. My girlfriends dad heard Still Day Beneath The Sun and Patterns in the Ivy II because it was on while I was helping them move and he was really impressed. He listens to most folk music too.
|
You mean Blackwater Park? If so, then I agree.
"And I heard, as it were; the noise of thunder. One of the four beasts saying, "Come and see." And I saw...and behold: a white horse." |
It certainly does not.
It certainly does. |
You mean "the balls of Satan"? Dude, I know German, it doesn't mean that.
|
The only song I don't like is Harvest.
|
Eier, can mean more than one thing.. It's just like if I said... You have no balls... Then I'm not talking about the fact that you don't carry around ping pong balls in your pocket
|
Eier literally means eggs, but it is slang for testicles. In the original context, it would translate directly to The Eggs of Satan, but if you consider the slang involved, to us English speakers, it would be The Balls of Satan.
Now, the thread name means The Balls of Tool. How hXc is that? :-D |
