in other news, i'm going in tomorrow to talk to the town manager about the things i don't like about my job and then to my boss about what i don't like about my job. we'll see where it goes from there.

i was going to go in at the end of the night tonight, but then my friends came and stuck around all night, and my boss was locked in the office having a serious conversation with someone for like the last 2 hours, so i couldn't even do the stuff i was supposed to do before i left.

Man its so amazing how much better vocals sound through a Rode NT2-A then a Shure SM58. Night and day.

My band came over today and we actually sat down and recorded two songs, with overdubs and everything. Since we overdubbed the vocals, I could use my Rode mics which I use for my drum overheads; before we had to use his SM58 for vocals when recording. So much crisper, fits his voice much better.

I still have to mix the second song, but I'll post the two together when its done.

we did gang vocals on sunday on one of our songs, and we did 4 tracks of the 4 of us into a whole bunch of mics, it sounds so huge, i love it.



and in other news, i went and returned the sm58 that i acquired from the school, and when i returned it they told me that one of the ones that was there didn't belong to them, and gave that one to me.

so conscience = clear
free mic = acquired anyways
