but we still have a bunch of psychopaths who try to ruin our progress with primitive delusions like religion and morality
well yeah technology is getting better for sure, but man has become more depraved. we didnt have nearly as many serial killers in the 1400s as we do today, but hey we have women in politics now! |
that's a load of bullocks, i think the human race is undeniably getting better
thats true, but were only getting better in safe zones. take away something as basic as electricity and we fall apart back to the age of killing each other with sticks. |
my stick would be awesome
/jason falls through the ceiling
too busy doing modern physics to lol at you sorry |

We had serial killers back then, they were the people who governed us and what they did was completely justified under their laws. 1400's is a terrible example, Vlad the Impaler was in power around then ffs. |

thats like people saying that 50 years ago it was safe to leave your front door open. its not so much that it was safe, just that mass media and news didnt exist so people were blind to widespread dangers. |
Jeez Tim

Actually there were plenty of killers during the middle ages that weren't in any form of power and still went out and killed, because, well a lot of Europe was woodland, and the (forces of) law weren't very extensive.
|
The fact that he was given the power to freely do that is what proves, in my opinion, that man was more depraved than now at that point in time.
And to this day, every day people generally don't impale pregnant women. The point josh makes is very valid as well. As far as a standard for depravity, I'm talking about that which abuses the rights of others and causes suffering to mankind. Drug abuse and sexual deviance should be considered forms of enlightenment and not depravity in this context. |

whatever, i'm just a jaded hippy who doesn't understand why we don't all love each other unconditionally
maybe the kids these days just don't listen to enough Amon Duul and Morbid Angel |
I disagree completely. Society was just more lawless.

this idea of entropy interests me organisation is something we have to constantly keep on top of otherwise nature tends towards disorganisation |
dank weekend bout to go see the chariot, arsonists get all the girls, and norma jean play through bless the martyr SUPNOW
|
good ****
|
aronists get all the girls is sweet
|
this idea of entropy interests me
organisation is something we have to constantly keep on top of otherwise nature tends towards disorganisation
its definitely one ofmy favourite things to study on. especially since it works wonderfully to piss off darwinists and make them back-pedal etc |
can't we just go back to the good ol days when we burned people we thought were witches and lived by roads covered in piss and feces
|
dank weekend bout to go see the chariot, arsonists get all the girls, and norma jean play through bless the martyr SUPNOW
I saw The Chariot play at sounds of the underground a few years ago and I must say, it was one of the worst/most untalented performances I have ever seen. |
aronists get all the girls is sweet
n but the Chariot and Norma Jean are. |
can't we just go back to the good ol days when we burned people we thought were wiches
you disgust me
i'm ashamed of the Salem witch trials on behalf of my american countrymen i also think black people DO require heavy financial reparations for slavery. |
you werent drunk enuff

you like all that **** anthony?
wtf |
are you bringing your sleeves
|
you like all that **** anthony?
wtf
anthony has a reputation for devouring less than reputable metalcore |
its definitely one ofmy favourite things to study on. especially since it works wonderfully to piss off darwinists and make them back-pedal etc
I never thought of it as going against darwinism as such, at least I wouldn't say that it could disprove it by any measure. Some evolutionary traits in nature are just incredible, such as the complimentary colors in flowers for instance. How does that **** go down? There's a sort of perfect process in entropy, isn't there? |
you guys just dont know how to have fun
fun is shotgunning a 12 case, going to a (less than reputable) metalcore show, goreslamming scene kids and bringing their girlfriends home with you so later hoonannies im off to do the above |
the universe isn't overly complex at all, the human mind just hasn't evolved to the point where it can comprehend it
plus it insists on logical explanations, which are not to be expected in nature beyond a certain level consistency |

It can't explain the abstract, or at least it becomes a convoluted and over the top argument nobody could be bothered to follow. |
see, haz gets it
|
I don't really know anyone who is a logic vulcan outside of MX, but thinking with that train of thought seems more inhibiting than anything else.
I totally see what you mean. |
On a lighter note, I just ate an apple.
Spending my morning learning Renoise. |
so my roommates had a hacking cough for like a month and has refused to go to the health center or anything
and now i came down with the cough this morning ffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuu |

by god you're right
|
I try to be logical but my head is going off in a million directions at once and I can never maintain a clear train of thought.
That being said, I'm very depressed today. |
