I quite like the 25 minute ambient song on Filosofem.

Filosofem is half-amazing. The black metal stuff is brilliant.

I actually like Burzums ambient tracks. Like Tomhet's ending flute melody is amazing, and the long one on Filosofem is definitely nice given the right setting.

filosofem does trail off and the ambient stuff is overlong, but the whole album still beats the **** out of just about 99.7% other black metal albums out there
