And yeah, The Failsafe, Anchor, Migrate, etc. are awesome songs, but Of Malice doesn't have all the filler material Mirrors does.

Plus, none of their songs have impacted me like The Year Summer Ended In June.

definitely. dude on mirrors has a really bland voice, but the music is just so incredible that it doesnt matter. theyre passable, which is good enough.

and thats the way the failsafe is with me. the lyrics, the music, everything about it really had a strong impact me when that album first came out.

yeah i thought jesse gave a much more honest, emotional performance than the new guy. in mirrors' defense though, some of the textures and layered stuff going on on that album surpasses anything they managed to create on Of Malice. like you said before, I think the big point Of Malice has over Mirrors is that its a solid album start to finish where Mirrors has a few filler tracks.

The first 2 albums are both good. The failsafe is from mirrors, if you liked that song, check out mirrors first, then if you like that check out Of Malice and the Magnum Heart, which is a bit more stripped down and texturally and productionwise.
