So whats everyone up to
Not much, just working and singing a horrible song that's been in my head since this morning, somethig from Hoobastink, the reason I think it is. If it doesn't let me loose soon, I'll be forced to kill myself!! :amaze:

Wintermute 11-03-2004 11:05 AM

Fuck! Ohio just called officially...

Well, see you later, America. Lets see how much more of the world you can manage to alienate and annoy. I'm betting all of it.

And Nisakss i gave you some

peeted 11-03-2004 11:17 AM

i think its bush, i have now oficialy lost all the remaning respect i had for america

Wintermute 11-03-2004 11:18 AM

Bush is president again. Kerry could just have pulled it off if he got the swing state of Ohio (20 Electoral College votes) but he didn't...

The final score -
Popular vote - Bush 51% Kerry 48%
Electoral Vote - Bush 274, Kerry 252.

Accentopus 11-03-2004 11:18 AM

I knew he would win

Wintermute 11-03-2004 11:20 AM

I feared he would win.

Accentopus 11-03-2004 11:21 AM

Ohio still wouldn't have won him the election though

peeted 11-03-2004 11:22 AM

the trouble is that the decocratic party have never been as ruthles as the republicans, there to honist, they dont lie about and degrade there apounents like the republicans do, the onley thing they ever have is a charming leader with carisma and unfortunatley kerry dunt have it so the lost

They have Michael Moore to do it for them! :p

Accentopus 11-03-2004 11:27 AM

He was awesome on question time

peeted 11-03-2004 11:28 AM

the trouble is americans dont read so they dont get mikes full input, if they had all read dude weres my countryu it wud have been 100 % green

Wintermute 11-03-2004 11:30 AM

Yeah, that was a little sickening.

They were all so predictable...

The Bush speechwriter was oblivious to the big picture.
Clinton's advisor expressed no real strong opinions.
Michael Moore was trying to make people agree with him by making them laugh.
Richard Littlejohn managed to find a way to insult the French.
the trouble is americans dont read so they dont get mikes full input, if they had all read dude weres my countryu it wud have been 100 % green
Wrongly. Don't make the assumption that just because Moore isn't a politician, or in the employ of a political party he is honest.

He's a spin artist, pure and simple.

Accentopus 11-03-2004 11:32 AM

Well....It's not hard

It was funny how they never answered the question and always twisted it

peeted 11-03-2004 12:01 PM

thats true, and it was a big assumption but as a country americans are one of the least literate and close minded 1st world nations (sorry americans on mx) there are plenty of sensible americans (48%) but i still think that if everyone in america had read that book and some republican litriture the vote would have been for a left party not a right party

Accentopus 11-03-2004 12:03 PM

I got really worried when i saw the title of this thread.

Does anyone feel like giving me their opinion on this band? They're a local band, which my mate fronts. I rather like them. Not my favourite genre or anything, but they're cool, and great live. The two songs on there are probably two of their best.

Accentopus 11-03-2004 12:35 PM

Another thing on the Rep system. I still see the dots, except for some people (like ChrisTabber). Anyone know the reason?

You're absolutely right. I, as an American, can say that the only thing that most people (that I know) voted for President Bush for was the stupid issue of abortion.

What I would like to say to those people, "What the **** is the difference between killing unborn babies and sending soldiers to their deaths for a stupid cause?" It's so god****ed inconsistent! Single issue voters piss me off and should not be allowed to vote, much less breathe all my air.

It may be because i have negative feedback for some unknown reason

Oh by the way, call me chris....that name depresses me.

See you later mate, I hope the system goes soon anyway

Accentopus 11-03-2004 01:14 PM

What were dots by the way

fatbandit 11-03-2004 01:44 PM

Sorry, calling you Chris confuses me, its my name too. No problem though - from this day forth, I decree you shall be called Chris.

And people, please look at my link I posted up there ^^
