they're raised from birth as social creatures, im sure you know the long term effects of being raised has on a child, regardless of how they are. girls have a much higher social acceptance need than males do.

1/6 people in the world has a mental illness, so obviously at least 1/12 is a woman, but considering the previous two reasons, I'm assuming its much higher than that

I do not think all women are insane at all. Even though a shocking amount of people have mental disabilities and emotional problems, I do not see any evidence that they are mostly on the side of females.

Confidence doesn't equate to being dismissive and close minded. I may be confident in my ways but I constantly seek to expand my knowledge of the world and accept that things may change and hope that they do for the better, not having confidence would obviously mean I wasn't comfortable with my world view so it would be fairly meaningless anyway.
