A great conversations with the owners, hopefully they will hire me this summer :) Jedi Mind Trick's Visions of Ghandi, Matisyahu's Live at Stubb's and Fight Club on DVD, a poster of Bob Marley Rolling a Joint. This came out stranger than usual, more rap/reggae, no rock :o . No metal didnt buy anything new cept JMT. Overall I was satisfied, and teh only reason I dont buy alot of rock/metal is because I can trade for most of it here.

You said he's off to a University. I was just curious because I will be going to college also.

The avid fanboyism of Nevermore around these forums killed my love of them.
It's weird that YOU say that (SF, CoB :D). But really, the nevermore fanboysm is not irritating at all.

Apocalyptic Raids 03-09-2006 06:00 PM

I don't really see that much fanboyism of Nevermore.

The bands I am a total fanboy of are:

Exodus
Dungeon
Megadeth (well their Thrash material anyway)
Judas Priest
Obituary

I've also become a Municipal Waste fanboy lately.

TojesDolan 03-09-2006 06:41 PM

I'm turning into a cliché Opeth fanboy. And I've grown very deeply the whole System of a Down Thing.

Anyhow, I'm taking down all the patches in my backpack today. I've grown a little tired of carrying patches that aren't my music anymore. Plus that's like so punk.

Shattered_Future 03-09-2006 07:37 PM

Rabid Nightwish fanboy here (as if you couldn't tell already).

God, pit is going to suck...play is in 2 weeks, we have played through about half the book once, and a good 10 of the 14 days up until the show are going to be 5 hour practices. And I didn't even GIVE A CRAP about the whole thing, I just did it to get out of the house.

Now I realize why I want to stab everybody, minus a select few, involved with the play and the pit...

Although the rhythm section IS going to attempt some metal to blast out at the end of each performance.

I got my new guitar :-D

It's a gibson sg with a humbucker, and it sounds sweet as hell

and im a radiohead fanboy

Deth 03-09-2006 07:41 PM

Opeth, Maiden and Priest fanboy with a slight case of Porcupine Tree on the side.

Mmmmmmm...SG. Love those guitars.
Mmmmmmm...SG. Love those guitars.
Yea, I'm very happy with it. I got it used so it was only 300.

Shattered_Future 03-09-2006 07:46 PM

Excellent. Buying guitars used is a much better way to go...it's cheaper, and I find they sound a bit better as well...

I almost got an SG, but my dad wanted me to get a guitar to play multiple styles of music with...got a Heritage Les Paul instead. Sweet guitar.

Deth 03-09-2006 07:49 PM

I really want to buy a fretless bass.

/tries to hop in on conversation

Stormrider 03-09-2006 08:04 PM

Hmm, is there a way we can change our album ratings on Sputnikmusic ?

Shadows 03-09-2006 08:06 PM

Just pick a rating for the album as though you haven't rated it yet and the rating will change.

I was hoping to buy myself a Jackson RR5, but they seem to have been discontinued. :(

What is this madness?!?
What is this madness?!?
Oops, maybe I was wrong. I was checking around for prices online a fe days ago but every single site that carried them said "sorry, this product is no longer available". Now I'm finding it around, so maybe it was just out of stock.

I hope it goes on, those guitars were beautiful.

Apocalyptic Raids 03-09-2006 08:13 PM

Don't scare me like that :'(

Deth 03-09-2006 08:16 PM

Has anyone bought a guitar on eBay? I'm getting tempted.

Apocalyptic Raids 03-09-2006 08:18 PM

I haven't, though my friend bought a Kirk Hammett signature ESP for a very good price.

Shadows 03-09-2006 08:21 PM

I just found an RR5 on some obscure online auction site for an insane price. The bidding is only up to $220 and I could buy it right now for $855.

I must have it. :(

Jom 03-09-2006 08:22 PM
Has anyone bought a guitar on eBay? I'm getting tempted.
If I had a credit card, I would probably be looking into getting a new bass, because it seems like every single seller that is selling a bass I'd like has a 99-100% approval rating, and for a very good price.

Permanent Solution 03-09-2006 08:22 PM
Has anyone bought a guitar on eBay? I'm getting tempted.
Yes. First electric I bought, I still have it.

Deth 03-09-2006 08:28 PM

I'm probably going to start saving now for a fretless for my birthday then.

Stormrider 03-09-2006 08:47 PM

Im starting to save up for my next guitar. I'm up to 100 about. Still got a long way to go.
