i totally agree about the rep whoring. The sad thing is, like you said, most people with stars didnt necessarily write good posts to earn those stars. I had the problem of arguing with people with stars when i had none. The fact that i wouldnt back down, just because they believe that, since they had stars, they could bully people around. I actually dug my self out of like 450 rep.....thanks to kewl people.

well the problem i had, was every good post would be repped by someone with no rep. Which is no big deal cause thats the whole point of rep to me. But then you get some lamerz, who disagree with something you said, regardless of what explanation you give them. They disagree with the statement, but cannot back up their unfounded rebuttal. They neg rep, and dont leave their name. I mean, what am i supposed to do. I would dig out with good posts, get burried by some idiot. Rinse and repeat 5 times, you catch on ya know


im not saying that condones my actions, its just some people are so beyond lame, that the stars intimidate them enuff to actually have a reason to be a jerk, instead of what comes naturally

Yep. I had a decent debate with KKKKocaine the other day, and he didn't neg rep for disagreeing (to my knowledge). I neg rep spam or stupid posts, not cos i have a different opinion with them.
