Neverwinter Nights is the best game of all time. Baldur's Gate rule too. Dragon Age: Origins is fucking awesome. best game since NwN imo. and I was highly sceptic of it due to modern game design being too action- and casual-oriented, but it came through. not *as* perfect as NwN, but still extremely well made.

I know what you mean. Dragon Age seemed kind of disappointing though, the class and race choices were so few and idk.

I know the BG's for PS2 were really hack and slashy and easy, but goddamn those games were so pretty and fun.

Story lines were a bit too vague though.

DA was amazing. I thought it would be a child version of NwN, but it ended up coming through. A LOT. I was blown away. they've made a modern RPG that fucking rules. I love it. can't wait for DA2.

I was just expecting as more depth on character customization, as Bioware used to focus a lot on that.

I know what you mean. I survived. it helps that they made a completely unique starting "zone" for all three races, and made the game react completely different to you depending on your class and race, in a way that no western RPG game I know has ever done before.

I was never able to get through dragon age. I restarted like 5 times and eventually got bored. The fucking finding the dwarf woman in the whatevertheyrecalledagain quest always had me pissed


also dling baldurs gate series figured ive heard 2 hyped enough i should actually play it

I don't see why anyone would find DA boring. I think it's the biggest achievement in storytelling a PC game has ever had.

every time jay comes over for the past 3 years we try to beat battletoads. for years we couldn't get past the hover bike stage then we finally were able to beat it then couldn't beat the snake stage that's two after that. One day he came over and I was like "dude, tonight we are going to beat battletoads ONCE AND FOR ALL" and he just said "sam, when are you going to get it man as long as we live, WE WILL NEVER BEAT THAT GAME." we usually play TMNT hyperstone heist (just like turtles in time but for sega) afterwards cause we kick ass at that and can beat it on hard.
