There aren't usually any shakedowns, but smoking in your room is risky and annoying, though you'll always do it anyway once you learn how you can get away with it (bathroom is a good idea). This practice comes with a paranoia that is closely associated with living at home with your parents. Also, simple activities like drying mushrooms or trying to get some trip privacy become a hassle with unpredictable roommate activity and limited physical space.
yeah, I figured. I used to smoke at home until I got a car, which made it such a convenience that I never had to worry about my parents. I don't really like tripping indoors and I don't predict bad weather keeping me from being outside, considering I'm going to Arizona. The roommate part does suck though. I hope mine's not a douchebag, but I kind of expect one, hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

during monsoon seasons and the winter rainy seasons we can get some pretty bad weather here. also, we may not have that much bad weather compared to other places but the triple digit summers will probably keep you inside as well.

Anxious 05-02-2008 10:43 AM

Anxious 05-02-2008 01:34 PM

should words serve the truth

perriwinkle 05-02-2008 03:08 PM

the real question is, what is truth? o_O

Kage 05-02-2008 03:09 PM

Words are incapable of serving truth.

Zmev 05-02-2008 03:51 PM

Funny, I thought I was in the no community thread not philosophy 100

What is a thread?

samariah 05-02-2008 04:46 PM
Words are incapable of serving truth.
words can only give us conceptualizations of truth

Yeah, I know it's not always sunny and temperate, and it will definitely be ridiculously hot at the beginning and end of the school year, but most of the time it'll be nice enough. It shouldn't be too hard to find a nice day during which I can go outside and do drugs.

okay 05-02-2008 09:06 PM

i think you're underestimating our summer
