Yeah. Rush Hour 2.

Okay, let's talk philosophy:

I believe that everyone has the potential for intelligence, not just book-smart. We are all good at something. Most often, people find what they are good and best at, but many never find what they are good at.

Also, you can learn ANYTHING you want to learn. All you have to do is look for the information. Informing yourself. The information is out there. Utilize it.
Weird, I was just looking up stuff on philosophy, and came across the idea of robots overruling us and making us either extinct or reduced to domestic animals. And I also agree about the whole learning thing, if you want it real bad, you'll get it.
Metaphysics makes anything possible. It's basically the real-world "The Matrix." If you can free your mind, you can free your body.

Of course, most people are skeptical of this, but hey, beleive what you want. Someday, I'm going to laughing my ass off on the astral plane at those narrowmind folks.
I believe in astral projection, most people I guess are afraid to do it b/c they mite "never come back? wtf knows, they are narrowminded

deathmetal 09-04-2005 09:37 PM

All I know is my fav saying is from Bill Hicks, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves. Very intersting ****t there.

I think "most people" don't really know about it.

denboy 09-04-2005 09:38 PM

I don't believe in anything supernatural/paranormal, whatever you call it, for one simple reason:

I'm guessing you're also an atheist, right?

denboy 09-04-2005 09:49 PM

Quite the contrary

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-04-2005 09:59 PM

So you think if a Christian wanted to prove the existence of God by taking that million dollar quiz, they could do so?

I highly doubt it.

YouGottaBeCrazy 09-04-2005 10:04 PM

But the point of Christianity is not to prove the existence of God. That isn't a daily activity of Christians.

Teehee, I love how you immediatly thought I was christian

Read the F.A.Q on his site though.. This guy's been doing it for 60 years

To clarify though, I believe in alot of spiritual stuff, but my beliefs are that you can't affect the outer world with it.. Only your inner world.. Astral projection, flying out of your body, seeing things far away, is a nogo... I believe it's more like going inside your own mind and discovering the world as you see it..

That doesn't make it as much fun to read about though. :p

denboy 09-04-2005 10:17 PM

Hey, I don't know about yours, but it's not like my mind is a boring place to explore ;)

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-04-2005 10:19 PM

I actually didn't assume you were Christian, it was just the first example that popped into my head. :)

denboy 09-04-2005 10:23 PM

Hehe. I am a christian though.. Well, sort of.. That jesus guy sure knew what he was talking about.. Everything else in the bible isn't really to my liking though

Dude3 09-04-2005 10:36 PM

I'm off to bed.

*shudders* Possible haircut tomorrow. I actually want to get a haircut. I just get really nervous that they'll mess up. It usually comes out fine though. I'm only getting a trim though. Maybe about 1/2" off. Maybe 1".

Whatever. Goodnight

denboy 09-04-2005 11:31 PM

I got a haircut once.. Thinking.. "Ah, it's probably gonna go okay, they couldn't possible mess it up.. It's just a haircut".. And this is what happened!

That's wierd, everything corresponds pretty accurately in the Bible so what Jesus taught was **** near the same thing the Bible does.

People offer a million dollars also for any proof of Evolution. The only difference between the tests is, that usually a normal Christian, or any type of person with supernatural beliefs doesn't try to prove their case like an atheist does.

I'm wondering.. Have you ever read the old testament?
There's alot of condemning in the bible. Jesus never condemned anyone

I wasn't saying anything against anyones beliefs... But if someone can astral project, that means they can look at something without using their eyes, wich means they could get a million dollars and feed the poor.. Give me one good reason they shouldn't do that.

The God in the Old Testament was angry a lot. Probably because someone told him the new Tool album was coming out soon, but than said they were just kidding.

Jesus turned over tables in a temple because people were selling things in a church. He showed anger and that's close enough for me.

There's a big difference of slaying a million people, and being angry..

Moses 09-05-2005 10:07 AM

The point of the new testament was that there would be no more slaying and judgment. Alot of it corresponds is all I'm saying.
