I don't mind it now that the venue they used to overrun finally shut down. I hate all ages venues...the second they have a hardcore show, the ninja dancing shitheads come out of the woodwork.

Straightedge people are the only group in any scene I can think of that are so retardedly violent for no real reason.

I'm all about people getting see bands they like...but all ages really does mean all ages...I saw some seriously young kids at some of these shows and the guys that kicked my friend's *** couldn't have been older that 15. It just sucked that there were about 6 of them, so their attack was pretty vicious.

On a side note, I can't get the "dig" option to work on my posts...anyone know how it works? I'm a ****ing noob.

the one time i went to a hardcore shows and there were kids skipping in circles

only it was really angry skipping and they were punching people in the face

i poopied my pantaloons

one time i went to a show and some guy had 2 yo yo's and was doing crazy **** with them and everyone danced around him

it was awesome

i've never seen anything cool at a show

i once saw a guy boost himself up on someones back and jump on top of the crowd and knocked a couple scene girls unconscious though, lawl

my one old band (the deathcore one) played a show in new jersey the one time

kids circle pitted during our one song, it was awesome

every time there is a pile on at shows it seems to be right on top of me

and a pile on here = punch anyone you want to in the face

Depends on who you ask, IMO it isn't.

Its got some really good tracks, but its filler for the most part. It's not exactly bad, but it's pretty bland.

Deathcore is not where I should be, obviously. I can't stand the -core scene and hate all scenesters, especially those that dance like tools all over the place, reveling in their eliteness.

Yeah, I ****ing hate when people dance at shows where the music is geared towards people dancing at shows. It's so toolish... to go to a metalcore show and dance.

The name isn't based on either of those bands. And, yes, I do get moshing. The dances and 2-steps done at hardcore shows these days, mostly by the 16-25 year old crowd isn't the same thing as moshing that originated in the 80s (or slamdancing, which came out of the 70s).

Regardless, even if it was the same exact thing, I would think it's retarded.

Jesus christ I've had upto here with people having a dig at others enjoying themselves at shows.

Last time I saw August Burns Red some metal purist douches kept pushing me and other kids who were throwing down into each other. I got hit in the face like 4 times, accidentally, by friends, because the douchebags couldn't get it that it's a ****ing August Burns Red show and kids are gonna dance, and ironically if they didn't push people, LESS people would get hurt.

Basically resulted in me crowd punching like crazy, which is pretty ****ing rare.

Also, same kids tried tripping kids when they were circle pitting, and some tuffguy kids were throwing down in like a wall trying to hit kids who were circle pitting (apparently it's pussy?)... resulted in them getting grabbed by a bunch of kids and getting dragged around in a circle hahaha.

Seriously one of the best shows I went to after the kids who were pitting got the douches to back off.

No, it's def the same, for the most part, at hardcore shows... you know things change over time and what-not. It's a lot more different at [B]metalcore[/B] shows because it's a different scene.
