I think I had a dream that I saw Slumdog Millionaire and it was about a rich old guy with a mustache living in one of those beach cabin things on risers and there were a bunch of poor indian looking people living under it

Haven't seen this movie but same thing happened with Gran Torino to me. Full of clichés. The Clint factor made me watch it till the end though.

The trailers made it seem like Eastwood wasn't even acting. I mean, from my perspective it looks like he's just being himself.
