FatalEnergy 08-22-2007 09:29 PM

Awesome. Parties rules.

I had a two person party last night.

ohhhhh yeahhhhhh

Kage 08-22-2007 09:29 PM

Sometimes I get depressed as hell when I drink/stone, so I'm worried that will happen.

Glitterati 08-22-2007 09:29 PM

i just got this funny mental picture of vincent in a frilly pink apron and oven mitts puttering around the kitchen making lasagna or something

Ah, I see.

One thing im not looking forward to it the amount of drinking that is going to take place. Over the past year my interest in drinking has really depleted.

Kage 08-22-2007 09:30 PM

I don't like drinking that much, I've realized.

Actually, after a summer of drug forays I've come to the realization that I generally just prefer being clearheaded for the most part.

superpeer 08-22-2007 09:31 PM

Man, it sucks that uni life isn't really the same here, without the dorms. The appartments just aren't the same and so many people still live at home.

I feel like I'm missing out sometimes, with all the partying and stuff, but then sometimes I see/hear about how dumb those parties are and then I think maybe not. And maybe I'd be too shy to fit in, but maybe not. I'll never know. :(

Permanent Solution 08-22-2007 09:31 PM

i live with a house of drunks though i rarely drink so we shall see how that pans out.

hopefully with lots of half-sober girls throwing themselves at me whilst i'm pretty sober so i can avoid the uggos <_<

EMH: weirdo

Shadows 08-22-2007 09:32 PM

I like drinking. Not so much for being drunk anymore though.

GenuineImitation 08-22-2007 09:35 PM

Same here. I'll smoke occasionally (once a week about) and I'll have a beer or two, but I would much rather remain in control of my actions then be "hopped up" as my friends call it.

Anglachel 08-22-2007 09:35 PM

This lonely talk is making me depressed over growing up :-\

Kage 08-22-2007 09:36 PM

Growing up sucks.

FatalEnergy 08-22-2007 09:37 PM
Growing up sucks.
This is true

GenuineImitation 08-22-2007 09:37 PM

Growing up has its pros and cons. I have been noticing more cons though...however strip clubs are cool.

superpeer 08-22-2007 09:43 PM

I don't like being 21 much. It sounds way too responsible and it's weird.

EMH: lol i bet it's true

tribestros 08-22-2007 09:44 PM

Growing up is overrated. Yeah, alcohol is great.

Strip clubs are mucho greatness as well, until you get a girlfriend or married.

Permanent Solution 08-22-2007 09:44 PM

ew trashy =\

growing up sucks until you're in the job force making mad bank and then it's good until you get lonely and then it sucks until you get married and so on and so forth.

It depends where you go. Some places in a big city like Manhattan have some quality booty.

tribestros 08-22-2007 09:46 PM

Oh.

Wow.

Sorry.

That was a huge miswording problem.

I don't know, man. I really dread the thought of having to work every day and probably come home to my stinking bachelor house.
I don't know, man. I really dread the thought of having to work every day and probably come home to my stinking bachelor house.
Please dont mention that. I try to ignore that part of my future.

don't be so self deprecating

I don't wanna leave home in a year. I'll probably just move to Oregon for a year and live with some friends maybe and then go to school in Eugene.

Kage 08-22-2007 09:49 PM

Self deprecation is what it's all about.

GenuineImitation 08-22-2007 09:50 PM

I think i have the perfect situation. Im living out of home, but my school is about 40 minutes away. So when I get home sick or need money/food etc. I can go home whenever I want. I have the best of both worlds so to speak.

Kage 08-22-2007 09:52 PM

But you have a 40 minute commute to school every day. That's no fun.
But you have a 40 minute commute to school every day. That's no fun.
I think he means that he lives near college, but his original home is only 40 minutes away, so if necessary he can retreat to his loving parents.
But you have a 40 minute commute to school every day. That's no fun.
I should have been more careful with my words. By living out of home, I meant not living at home. Sorry about the confusion. My apartment is 3 minutes from the campus. it is also near 2 venues that hold rock and metal concerts, as well as a plethora of rock/jazz and blues clubs and Im about 20 minutes from NYC.

EDIT: Yay, Jelle got it!

Kage 08-22-2007 09:59 PM

Oohhhh. Right. That's pretty good.

My home is a good 24 hour drive away. :)

Dont have to worry about unexpected visits then which is a plus.

Riva 08-22-2007 10:02 PM

My current address is about 25 minutes from the campus on a bad day, 15-20 on a good day. Same as up in Cairns. Cairns is a 3.5 to 4 hour drive from Townsville though.

Permanent Solution 08-22-2007 10:04 PM

i live a 20 min bike ride from campus and a 14 hour drive from home.

GenuineImitation 08-22-2007 10:04 PM

A 25 minute commute to campus isnt bad. Im sure it could get annoying though.

Kage 08-22-2007 10:05 PM

I like living in a dorm because I can just come here and kick it any time without having to commute anywhere. I'm a guy who needs downtime rofl

GenuineImitation 08-22-2007 10:07 PM
I like living in a dorm because I can just come here and kick it any time without having to commute anywhere. I'm a guy who needs downtime rofl
That is what I like to do, but when I timed the drive to the apartment from the main part of campus and the walk from the dorms to the main part, i found that driving was actually shorter.

Riva 08-22-2007 10:12 PM

I just skip lectures. It's easier this way. :p:(

Kage 08-22-2007 10:13 PM

That's the academic thing to do.
