I'd imagine he wanted more.

Yeah, no Warped for me. Not too terribly heartbroken about it though...

cadencethefire 07-23-2008 03:05 PM

heartbroken?

Shattered_Future 07-23-2008 03:06 PM

Upset, sad.

Too expensive to see a few bands.

kattunlover69 07-23-2008 03:39 PM

blindfolds aside is still their best video

Tyler 07-23-2008 03:39 PM

These Colours is just as good.

kattunlover69 07-23-2008 03:41 PM

if i could i could probably write a script to for a bonemarrow video but meh they are probably to lazy to even attempt it

Tyler 07-23-2008 03:43 PM

yeah they're so lazy they're only touring for like a year straight lol lazy goons

ps: music videos aren't cheap

Benzilla 07-23-2008 03:46 PM

New Cheese and Crackers:

Drunken wrestling, how the hell that Rody boy intends to live to his early thirties...nay...late twenties I don't know.

Tyler 07-23-2008 03:47 PM

He's not as bad as he pretends to be. He's no worse than anyone in most touring bands.

2muchket! 07-24-2008 07:56 AM

He seems fairly out of it in that video.

Pete 07-24-2008 08:14 AM

he's drunk, i don't get what's so bad about that

2muchket! 07-24-2008 08:42 AM

I expect him to be drunk tho', it's whats required on tour.

Also I heard one of those remixes and they are ****ing awful

willfellmarsy 07-24-2008 10:13 AM

Devin Townsend remix will own...if it doesn't i'll cry...

Dimmu Burger 07-24-2008 10:25 AM
Devin Townsend remix will own...if it doesn't i'll cry...
he probably added a bunch of fart and poop noises to it.

willfellmarsy 07-24-2008 10:40 AM

and how would that not make it awesome?

edit: just heard the first remix and it's pretty much a fart and poop noise in and of itself...

Dimmu Burger 07-24-2008 10:48 AM

lol I'll pirate this if I can find it.

Tyler 07-24-2008 01:14 PM

It's awful, it's like some shitty industrial song with randomly placed Sequoia Throne samples.

rasputin 07-24-2008 08:45 PM

I suspected the remixes would be terrible.

natey 07-24-2008 09:17 PM

I love these guys and I wasn't excited at all when I first heard about the remixes. I was surprised to find their show today pretty crowded at Warped Tour. Maybe it was because we're so close to Canada.

Dimmu Burger 07-25-2008 09:48 AM

Maybe people are starting to like good music!

cadencethefire 07-25-2008 10:55 AM

that'd be nice, but probably not :/

Shattered_Future 07-25-2008 05:32 PM

The remix didn't use enough of the actual song. The vocal parts repeated over and over and over again didn't work too well...

Tyler 07-25-2008 05:59 PM

It was definitely an already made song and the guy just placed a bunch of samples over top of it.

Dimmu Burger 07-26-2008 06:36 AM
that'd be nice, but probably not :/
I think its a lot better than it was back in the late 90's. Extreme metal and more eclectic indie stuff has gotten way more popular in the past few years. But still most people are music retards, just not as many as before.

true

its difficult to find people who aren't scene and like extreme metal in my area tho'.

But still PTH and the like increasing in popularity is good to see.

i couldn't agree with you more. It's good that people are taking more of a forward approach to making music, i just wish they cared about how it sounded when they actually played it hehe

At the Buffalo stop of Warped Tour? I was pretty surprised by the amount of people too, I expected a little over half than the actual amount that were there. It was awesome though.

I'm a little angry they didn't play Turn Soonest to the Sea. I would've loved to sing the ending part in a crowd of people who were singing along too, and since I was like 6 feet from Rody, it would've been epic.

He got the crowd to collaborate on the "Live to **** and **** 'till death" part of Goddess Bound at the Nokia Theater Show, that was pretty cool. I understand where you're coming from though, I've always wanted to do that.

Tyler 07-28-2008 06:28 PM

It gets old. Nothing will ever top being on stage singing These Colours Don't Run while the band breaks **** and swings on the rafters

Pete 07-28-2008 06:36 PM
It gets old. Nothing will ever top being on stage singing These Colours Don't Run while the band breaks **** and swings on the rafters
please be a bigger douche when it comes to proving whatahuge pth-fan you are

of course it doesnt "get old" for someone who has never done it and really wants to do it. it's a very catchy and sing-a-long friendly part as well. but of course, anything anyone would like to do is way inferior to your elite shenanigans.

plz consider that this post is brought to you with the utmost respect and love for your person :)

hug,
pete

Tyler 07-28-2008 06:38 PM

no i mean it gets old singing along because it feels like it goes on forever live

Xplisit 07-28-2008 06:47 PM

pth blows because they talk $hit about other bands 24/7.

Tyler 07-28-2008 06:50 PM

all bands talk **** 24/7. Rody only talks **** about bands that deserve it.

Xplisit 07-28-2008 06:50 PM

you just love him off.
sorry dude but its true.

Against Miik! 07-28-2008 06:52 PM

They were awful at Warped Tour (worked it, didn't actually go), but I think its because the mixing was all eff'd up everywhere because they didn't want stages bleeding into each other. It was really unfortunate. I'd like to see them in a more conventional setting.

Xplisit 07-28-2008 06:53 PM

i saw them @ the opera house in toronto, and musically they were really good. everything sounded great.

edit: cept rody wining about various things in between songs

Tyler 07-28-2008 06:54 PM

I don't "love off Rody", I barely know him. And it's true, all bands do is talk **** and get drunk. The only difference is he doesn't care enough to keep it behind the scenes. I don't see how being honest (and kind of a jackass) makes them suck.

Xplisit 07-28-2008 06:57 PM

meh well he never rubbed me the right way. i only continued to see/listen to them because they are a local band and i try to support all local bands as religiously as possible

Tyler 07-28-2008 06:58 PM

Rubbed you the wrong way? Have you actually met the guy? He's surprisingly humble and, get this, a pretty nice guy. You let entertainment and showmanship get the best of you.

Xplisit 07-28-2008 07:00 PM

nah dude, because it hasn't happened with any other frontman i've seen. okay, aside from that dude from QOTSA.

oh look where they're from..
