DT on the EP has a different mood to it than the album version. Both 33's are good. I don't know which versions I like better though.

B 10-26-2005 08:04 PM

Ive never heard the Ep :-\

DJ Ducksauce 10-26-2005 08:11 PM

There was a YSI link going around a week or two ago.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-26-2005 10:00 PM

Nope. I've had that forever.

The Dilerium Trigger EP is what I meant.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-27-2005 07:25 PM

cobert 10-27-2005 07:39 PM

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-27-2005 07:46 PM

Now.

Up here alone.

Bad Blood 10-29-2005 02:34 PM

I love playing Welcome Home on my guitar. Especially hitting that harmonic on the second time round of the intro.

DJ Ducksauce 10-29-2005 08:14 PM

Welcome Home is one of the most fun songs to play. Blood Red Summer and The Final Cut are really cool too.

EDIT: Someone I know that went to the show in Austin on the 24th said that Claudio didn't say any of the cuss words. Anyone else notice this at any other shows?

Society Sellout 10-29-2005 10:51 PM

I cannot for the life of me play that intro and actually have it sound anything close to how it sounds on the song :(. I guess I haven't really worked on it all that much though.

Spectrum 10-29-2005 10:53 PM

I can't get the sweeps on the intro to "Welcome Home". Mostly because I've never had to sweep before and have never had to learn the technique, but I'd like to know how. Any tips? You guys playing all these Co&Ca songs seem quite competent.

It really doesn't matter but yes at my show he cussed.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-30-2005 08:54 AM

He cussed at my show.

Gnarmageddon 10-30-2005 09:01 AM

a, cdea, gfee, cefcb

DJ Ducksauce 10-30-2005 11:08 AM

b, aoces, onqout, bfazled

Gnarmageddon 10-30-2005 11:48 AM

Play that on a piano.

chumpradio 10-30-2005 12:04 PM

Spence, is that the album intro for one of the albums?
I can't be bothered getting my keyboard out just yet.
EDIT : Just played it. It sounds correct.

Gnarmageddon 10-30-2005 12:06 PM

It's the little diddy that's in Ring In Return, and also appears in various songs of the other albums.

DJ Ducksauce 10-30-2005 12:45 PM

Oh. I thought you were just typing some nonsense. :p

Gnarmageddon 10-30-2005 02:31 PM

My friend is crazy. He can play and sing like every song on guitar.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-30-2005 02:44 PM

That's intense, I wish I could play the guitar haha.

DJ Ducksauce 10-30-2005 04:50 PM

You should.

In all honesty, it's not too hard to learn.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-30-2005 05:01 PM

Ya I have heard that and one of my good buddies wants me to start playin so we can play together and I am going to start this winter but I don't have the money for a guitar so I am going to have to wait a lil longer.

DJ Ducksauce 10-30-2005 05:07 PM

I need to find people to start a band with.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-30-2005 05:08 PM

Do it! And play a bunch of Coheed covers!

DJ Ducksauce 10-30-2005 05:10 PM

I don't know too many Coheed fans that play instruments. That would be cool though. There are a couple of people on my tennis team that play guitar. I don't know about bass or drums... Also, who would sing?

DepthsOfDreams555 10-30-2005 05:18 PM

I dunno it was kind of a joke, but you could still do the covers without an amazing singer you don't have to sing that high.

DJ Ducksauce 10-30-2005 05:19 PM

I've actually wanted to start a band.

YDload 10-30-2005 05:35 PM

I can play pretty much any Coheed song on bass, but some of them are a bit tricky. 2113 has that freaky run in the middle of it where the bass and guitar play the same thing, and a lot of SSTB songs have basslines that don't follow the guitar, so they're hard to figure out.

God Send Conspirator is probably my favorite to play, and The Crowing is neat too.

DJ Ducksauce 10-30-2005 08:29 PM

I've heard that SSTB bass is better than in IKS. How is it in GA?

YDload 10-30-2005 08:30 PM
I've heard that SSTB bass is better than in IKS. How is it in GA?
An improvement over IKSSE, in fact it's closer to SSTB in terms of how high it is in the mix, and how interesting the lines are.

DJ Ducksauce 10-30-2005 08:34 PM

That was fast.

Cool. I don't play bass, but yeah, I had heard how people were expecting the bass on GA to be better because of the longer time inbetween the albums.
