According to www.ozzy.com, the Oz-man is confirmed for the Ozzfest day (saturday) at this years Download festival! This will probably turn into Black Sabbath playing!! Sat. 10th June 2005. I'll be there :D
except the 10th of june is a friday...anyway i'm gonna go down, i should be able to afford it. |
oops.
/too lazy to edit. |
yeh on ozzy.com it says ozzfest day at download '05. as his only other date so far is with sabbath in denmark, possibly it will be sabbath at download...
Next Wednesday theres going to be an announcement concerning Download so maybe we'll find out then :)
goody goody, is that a download announcement as in about all the bands that will be there?
I think they're going to announce the 3 day festival idea and the headliners.
good good. hopefully maiden, sabbath/ozzy, children of bodom, metallica, dragonforce, etc etc...that would be cool.
Maiden are in mainland Europe on the 11th and 12th.
Metallica headlined last year. Bodom wouldn't make it to Download. Dragonforce might be at Bloodstock. |
metallica is busy makin a new album
Is it just me or does the spooky sounding words said at the end of Children of the Grave (4:50) sound like the noise that's made on Friday The 13th when people are being pursued by Jason. Yes, I know it only says 'Children of the Grave' but it sounds eerily like it.
yea you should hear the rob zombie cover with him screaming in the background with wierd guitar shreds.
I havnt heard that cover. I probably wont like it as I hate covers of any kind and Children of the Grave is my favourite Sabbath song. But what do you think of it?
Children of the Grave is great, yeah. I have another question...Who's coughing at the start of Sweet Leaf? I heard it was Iommi after taking a puff on a joint, but this is from an unrealiable source.
it was Iommi
it was Iommi
Thanks chief. |
Hellfueled's cover of children of the grave is brilliant, better then Rob Zombies (in my god-like opinion)
Thanks chief.
i have my uses in life, they may be few but they are there dont know if this is true ut it was apparently an accident, he just coughed when they were about to record and they ended up leaving it in  |
its not just one cough either. takes up a few seconds at the start of the song.
yeah, i thought my cd was scratched when i first heard it
yeh, because it repeats the last one (i think)
no idea but i was pissed off

Defense for your argument...? They're good, but I dunno about the best. |
i have my uses in life, they may be few but they are there
dont know if this is true ut it was apparently an accident, he just coughed when they were about to record and they ended up leaving it in
Its looped, I think it goes well with the nature of the song.. If you're referring to Sweet Leaf. If not.. :upset: |
Tony Iommi and Randy Rhodes are the greatest guitarists in the world!

Talk about Randy Rhoads in this thread again and I'll neg ye.
 I can see him being banned sometime within the next month.. I heard Heaven and Hell today. The song, not the album. I like it. I think I want to buy that album after Vol. 4. |
